Hardwood and carpet and lino installation

THey were not on time, they made many mistakes and didn't admit it and only made excuses. Lino had bubbles in it, broke my light. Cuts in carpet were obvious and is now difficult to vacuum because it's loose and bumpy. Had to repaint walls after they came because they marked up the walls while bringing in the carpet. Do not use this compay!

Replacement of kitchen tiles and flooring.

My experience with this company in replacing a kitchen backsplash and new flooring was stessless and fast! The designer listened carefully to my ideas, and togetther we created a unique, beautiful backsplash - the installer's experience for perfection was awesome! The flooring was installed impeccably - the installers were always on time and maintained a clean worksite. I highly recommend this company to future customers.

Tile flooring and tub surround in bathroom.

Very unprofessional company. It started when I put a deposit down to start the project. I was told it would take two weeks for my tile to arrive and at that time I would be called to set up an installation date. After 3 wks I called, thinking the tile must be delayed....to only find out the order was never placed..even though they took my deposit. This should have been a red flag and in hind site I should have asked for my deposit back BUT I was understanding that a mistake was made. So now two weeks later(5 wks total at this point) the tiles were finally being done. The installer that started the job obviously had no training! He used cardboard of different thicknesses as the spacers. When the existing tile around the bathtub was removed, he slapped up normal gyproc...not the cement board that was in the contract. He used "pieces" of used gyproc and left 2" spaces between each piece where you could see our wall studs through all the spaces. He put on the tiles with all the different sized cardboard spacers. We called the owner and said it was unacceptable. He was extremely rude and told us we were too picky. He agreed to come over and when he arrived he yelled at my husband and told him he must be the type to watch Mike Holmes! We told him we want it done properly and to what we agreed in the contract. He did take out all the tiles but of course had to reorder. So now another 3 weeks(8 weeks in total) another installer was sent and actually was experienced and did the job properly. He told us how the first job was very shoddy workmanship. There were a few more issues for which some of them we "accepted" and they were never resolved. The owner was extremely rude the entire time. The receptionist was extremely incompetant. Not sure if they are still in business, but if they are: don"t waste your time, money or energy.

Whole house flooring & built a pony wall

A bowed pony wall that we overpayed for, imperfect work on pricey hardwood flooring (expecially on the stairs). Having to constantly phone the store to see if anyone is coming. They hire sub-contractors and do not relay important information so I would ask a sub-contractor a question about something and he would say "that is not my job to to that" so then I would have to phone or go down to the store to clarify and 100% of the time it was his job. It was an expensive and frustrating experience. I also felt the consultant who helped us pick the flooring did not spend enough time or thought about our needs (we have child) enough. The stain proof carpet which has a design that seems to lock in dirt was not a good choice.

We had our house painted before the flooring was laid down and the carpet guys were told by me about the paint job (I doubt the company mentioned it to the workers). Well door casings/trim and paint on the walls was scraped right off buy the workers pulling huge pieces of carpet with one worker downstairs and into the upstairs bedroom with no care at all...and yes I witnessed this. I did not tell the company because by that time I knew what the response would be "you should get the painter to come back and touch-up"...which they did some but the paint job still did not look the same. This was not a few scrapes here and there but every door/wall/trim piece with some sort of damage done becuase the workers which they hire (sub-contractors) don't care and neither do they.

Laminate flooring thru living room, up 5 stairs and down the hallway

We went with this company because the owner seemed to be honest. Upon 2 weeks after the instalation, 2 stair nosings had completely fallen off and one of the step backings completely detached. It has now been 5 months and they have still not come to repair it and we are constantly playing telephone tag, and they originally claimed we damaged the stairs without even coming to see it.

Rec Room Renovation

We were redoing our basement and required carpet and decided to go with slate for the bar area and washroom. They had a wide selection of carpet and tile to choose and the color choices looked extremely well together. We were very satisfied with the customer service and the price.
