Wall stand for Bike

I wanted to have a bike sit vertically against the wall in a secure way. The employees at Home Hardware were very helpful, asked me all the details (type of wall, how big was the bike, and how heavy it was). Then showed me the options I had. I ended up getting a hook and support to hang my bike. Works great and is so strong! The selection was a little limited though in terms of what I could use as they were a community hardware store but all I need was a quick fix and not something that was expensive and fancy.

Sanding and Treating Hardwood Floors

In the process of trying to rent out a second floor unit in our rental property, an interested potential renter requested that we get rid of the broadloom and sand down the underlying hardwood floors. We had to get some paint stripper, so I went to this Home Hardware, where the staff were helpful and prompt.

Honeywell RTH7500D Conventional 7-Day Programmable Thermostat

I followed the installation instructions...removed my old mercury thermostat and simply attached the wires as illustrated. For this kind of single stage system the install was surprisingly simple. The mounting holes even matched my old thermostat and I only had to put in anchors to reinforce.
Note - I had considered having a professional do this at $200 each, but a friend said that it was something I could do myself so I decided to save the $200 and give it a try. He was right. I had it installed within 30 mins.

Safety note - I discovered that my circuit break panel box is mislabeled..and the cutoff for my furnace was not correctly labeled. Take an extra few minutes and validate that your breaker box is correctly labeled and ensure your heating/ac unit is really off before you start.

Approximate cost of services:
$50.00
