Took my money but showed up only a couple of times. Did a lousy job when he did show up. Stopped responding to emails. Can't believe he's still on Homestars.

Showed up only 50% of the time. And when he did show up, he did a horrible job. Who piles snow up against a house wall, and barely enough to walk through?
Was totally unresponsive, unless collecting money. I would never trust Martin from Canscapes to do anything ever! STAY AWAY! HE IS DISHONEST!

Didn't show up most of the time. And for the times he did show up, he did a terrible job. Snow was not removed as promised...skipped walkways, incomplete jobs. Now everything is all ice and frozen over. When he called to ask him to complete jobs, he complained that there was "too much snow". Funny. It barely snowed in November and December, and we paid him for it. Maybe I should call him back and ask for our money back for those months, since there was "too little snow".

I would not recommend Martin/Marcin.

Hired Marcin To remove snow from 2 properties for the 2018/2019 winter season.
He has never been able to show up within the 12 hours after snow fall to remove the snow and now he doesn’t even show up at all. Requested a partial refund so that we could hire another company to finish the season and he’s now completely disappeared not even answering calls or responding to messages. These are properties that have elderly ladies living here who are incapable of cleaning the snow. This is just plain fraud, please stay away from any and all services Marcin or Martin or whatever he calls himself might try and sell you.

Hired this contractor in April 2018 because he was a friend of a friend, despite reading a negative review. In May, he gave me several excuses for the delay in material delivery and false promises regarding the date he would start the job. I gave him a $1700 deposit and in late May he asked for $400 more. Finally in June, he delivered a few bags of limestone screening and applied a thin layer over the grass. He then delivered a small number of bricks that he applied over the insufficient amount of limestone. I terminated his services and requested a $1500 refund. I have received $900 and doubt I'll see the rest. Don't hire him.

Canscapes was hired via Kijiji (canscapes@gmail.com) to lay down a set of patio slabs in the backyard. I was told that work would begin the following week after paying my deposit, but after 2 months all I have to show for is a thin layer of un-leveled screening. Every week it was a different excuse and another promise of 'will do more tomorrow'.

I've asked for a partial refund of the deposit, and after 20 days, I'm still waiting ...
