Asked for full service. Received damaged goods and a dismissive attitude
Appalling. Sub-contracted most of the work to other movers, who didn't know how to pack. Lorna from C & G carefully wrapped kitchen items (of zero value) while leaving the subcontractors to deal with fine art and sculpture. Multiple items smashed, damaged, destroyed due to lack of packing materials. When I expressed concern during the process I was told not to worry, they'd been in business since 1947. In the end, they charged the full amount of the move to my credit card without authorization (they said they were waiting for response, but when told I had responded, said they didn't check that email address). This company should be avoided. They are irresponsible, dismissive, destructive and not interested in supervising their incompetent and rude subcontractors. I went to them for a worry-free, hands-off, full-service move, and got the complete opposite of this.
