Alberta Mountain Air Heating & Air Conditioning

Replaced my old Lennox with a new unit thru Costco promo. The techs who came to my house didn’t really care about the floors or stairs. The floor liner used were dirty and only for the main entrance. The stairs and basement floors were not protected in anyway. Personal items moved without notice or permission. The two men crew left with my stairs scratched, floor and carpet dirty and dusty. Absolutely no efforts in cleaning whatsoever. Workmanship is so so. Very disappointed especially its a Costco “approved” vendor.

Jacob is extremely rude and does not honor the word or work of his technicians. Everything is an argument and always the customers fault. Technician says they no longer use the control board that they used on our new furnace, which was causing us problems and says to keep an eye on it and will replace it under warranty if it continues to cause problems. Furnace continues to cause issues so place a service call then get a bill for $205 just for showing up and a refusal to replace the controller. Says there is nothing wrong. I have pictures of my Ecobee showing one of our rooms at 14 degrees (we have multiple room sensors) and multiple notifications from Ecobee saying it is calling for heat and the furnace is not responding. Try to have this discussion with Jacob and he calls my wife and threatens to send our case to collections if we don't pay? Do not use them, even our home builder stopped working with them.

Good morning Jacob! We are thrilled with our new air conditioner! We love how sleek it looks (inside & out) & it is so quiet & Very efficient in how quickly it cools our condo.
We also wanted to tell you how pleased we were with your installer Dennis. He was very courteous & considerate and “exceptionally” neat! He left our home exactly the way he found it & not one fingerprint on any wall. A fine example of professionalism. We would recommend you and your team to anyone who is in need of an air conditioner.

I had a furnace installed in my new home by Alberta Mountain Air. They did not inform me that if I did not register the furnace within 60 days of move in I would lose 5 years on my warranty. I had a repair come up that cost me almost 1500.00 when I found out about that the part ( $1160.00) would have been covered by this extended warranty I asked for the money back. Jacob from AMA have tried everything he can to avoid doing the right thing. They refuse to settle for any amount. I would not recommend a company that does not have ethics and if I were you would avoid doing business with this company

They did a great job in the mechanical install and the finishing (ie. the positioning of the fans on the ceilings and hood fan. They are service oriented. We had a couple problems with the flappers being metal on metal so they were noisy when it was windy out, but they came and solved the problem promptly.
