Kitchen Counter - This Warrenty is not a Warrenty
When we purchased an new kitchen through AYA, Latitude supplied and installed a Silestone counter top.
About two years later we noticed large cracks in our counter. The counter is supposed to be under warranty, however, Latitude wanted to charge us $250 just for the visit even though we sent pictures of the cracks.
Latitude does not stand behind their product. Would never deal with them again.

- $4,000.00

Hi Michelle,
It is actually heart-breaking for me to see you write that Latitude does not stand behind our products because I know first hand, having grown up in the business and having worked at Latitude for 25 years, that standing behind our work and our service is our Paramount Principle. And that is a fact that anyone can count on. Although I know that you are troubled by the situation, I’d like to explain why there is a refundable fee to have a technician come to inspect—and possibly repair the cracks at that time—and why pictures are not a sufficient element to determine a warranty claim. Having fabricated and installed well over 40,000 countertops for homeowners such as yourself, we have established many practices and procedures to ensure that every single customer is provided with the utmost service that we can offer. Latitude would very much like to help you repair the cracks in your countertop if possible, whether they be covered under the warranty or if they do require a service fee.
Please contact us again so that we may help you. You can call me or anyone here at Latitude at 416-638-8586 or email us at info@latitudeonline.ca
Thank You,
Kevin & The Latitude Team
