Chesney Home Hardware

Been going to Chesneys my entire life. Not a huge fan of the new location but I still go there all the time. I guess I miss the old squeaky floors, lol. I love this old hardware store where you can spend hours wandering around looking at interesting things. This is the place you goto when you need something to fix something on your "old" lawnmower or to fix something in your "old" house. They always carry hard to find things.

Well whats more to say we have been going to this store for over 30 years me and my family. They have all the hard to find plumbing items and good knowledge of things you need. They also remember you when you return. Its a wonderful personal touch and nice to talk to someone without all the high pressure sales etc.

Many of my celing pot lights were starting to burn out. As a fairly new homeowner I was not able to locate the correct end configuration of pot lights required to replace the ones I had. I did some researching online and found that Home Hardware supplied the correct replacement pot lights I was looking for. However, they did not carry any stock on a regular basis but was more than willing to special order them for me as long as I placed the order ahead of time. Product arrived a week later and I was contacted for pick-up. Great customer service! Will definitely shop again!

After searching stores for reliable, experienced help/service I was referred to Chesney Home Hardware. They were what I was told, experienced and helpful with the right equipment for my project as well as good advice for my project. I would recommend this company to others. Cheers
