Really like the expertise and the results of Fernando and the engineers at GS Designers Ltd. They were able to get a great design for both my garage in the Lane and the New 2 story addition to my existing house. Integrating the old structure with the new, getting me the variance I needed at the city, all within the City of Toronto building code. Thank You for making it happen.

We are a general contracting firm which specializes in disaster restoration services. We come across a large amount of damage which comprimizes the intregrity of the structal framing of the home. Fernando at GS Designers is very skilled & knowledgeable at the home design & structual platform of these areas. As a general contractor, I used Fernando at GS designers to provide my clients with the permit for the interior and structural renovation to their home. Fernando's service was excellent. He was honest, straightforward, and thorough, which are qualities that can sometimes be difficult to find in the renovation industry. His attention to detail was like none other. I was extremely confident throughout our permitting process that all details had been considered, and there would be no delays from being unprepared for city requirements. Fernando connected us with a structural engineer, looked after our hoarding requirements for the protection of a city tree, and double checked that we didn't need any of the other permits that might be required.

Fernando, owner of GS Designers, provided excellent service for me for my roof extension project. He took care of everything from A to Z without any hassle, right from the design stage, to engineering, and getting the approvals from the City, and co-ordinating with inspectors. Fernando the designer and owner of G.S. Designers Ltd, he only gives the highest standard of services to his clients which he deals with. He will be with you from the beginning of project from the design stage dealing with the city issues like the zoning bylaws to the Committee of Adjustment process if the design does not comply with the standards of the zoning bylaw and to the building code issues related to design of the building and the administration process at the Building Department at the city and to the end of project with any final issues with inspector to the contractor issues. My family has used Fernando for many projects and I have referred him to my relatives and to my friends he has always started the project with a professional level and it did not make a different from a small project like a front open porch or detached garage to an addition to an existing building or even an new house that my friend constructed that used Fernando has his designer. Fernando designed two projects for our home.
In 2001 designed a utility room 14' X 15' with an entry door to the garage & a garden door which leads to a patio & then to the backyard.
In 2008 designed an eating area which opened up our kitchen an extra 15' X 15'. This room has given the house a whole different dimension.
Fernando was very professional & accessible. He answered all our questions & concerns & addressed them to our satisfaction. He strived to make sure we were comfortable with the designs & would be happy with the outcome.
