Bruce Pour was one of several contacts for our new furnace. His expertise and knowledge of HVAC and fair price was the determining factor. A big thanks to the installer Masoud and his partner to a flawless install and tidy cleanup!

Bruce answered all of my questions and made a number of site visits while the work on my new system (air, heating, tankless water heater, fireplace, new duct work) was being completed. When there was an issue with the brand new A/C unit, the manufacturer (Carrier) was slow to respond and clearly had no idea what customer service entails. Bruce replaced the unit at his own expense, before it was clear whether or not Carrier would exchange the unit. In other words, he did the right thing.

Working with Bruce and his technicians and office staff was a pleasure from start to finish. Bruce gave me a professional and honest estimate. I felt I could trust him which is a big factor when the job is the installation of a new furnace. The work began and was completed on schedule. Manny and his assistant Mark were superb. The job was not easy and threw up some unexpected problems. Manny found the solutions. He was courteous, clean and quiet on the job. The application for the government incentive was prepared for me in a timely way.
I would work with Econair again and recommend the company to anyone facing the decision of a new furnace. They took all the worry out of the problem.

Our furnace stopped working one wintery day, and Econo Air answered our call and came in with short notice. I was charged $90 plus tax for the diagnostic, and was told that the heat exchange needed to be changed which would cost over $1000. The second serviceman who came later to do the repair then discovered that it could be a cheaper problem. He changed the venting motor because the impeller was broken and the furnace was working again.

That only cost me $550 plus tax because he credited me the first diagnostic towards this repair. There's warranty on the parts for one year, but labour charge will be extra.

Not the biggest contractor…not the smallest….just right.

In dealing with Bruce Pour, the owner of Econo Air, we had our salesperson and technical expert all in one. He actually listened to us, went over our options with 2 heat pump manufacturers and then delivered a proposal in 24 hours that captured our needs and his best assessment of the most appropriate unit. Everything made sense to us and the process was seamless. The installers were courteous and neat and did a fine job.

If you deal with a big contractor, you are going to pay for their overhead. His price blew them away. We were disappointed with other proposals where our input wasn’t deemed important. They each sent us one option without discussing the rationale, or they added unwanted expensive extras and in one case actually forgot to include a key component of the system…………… and they took their time getting back to us.

Bruce is a true professional who patiently discussed and explained the technical aspects at our first meeting…the second was to sign the contract. I guess it helps to have a mechanical engineer as your salesperson, technical advisor and business owner.

Last year we had our furnace and air conditioner replaced by Econoair and were very happy with the installation. Just had our first service completed and the technician was very professional, friendly, and thorough. Great company with excellent service representatives. Highly recommended.

There are many positive things about Econoair. My initial review, which was a 10, needed to be altered after we realized a few air gaps and design issues with our system. Both of these items were things we felt Econoair as a certified HVAC company should have caught or known. We did feed this back to Econoair, and Bruce responded immediately with an offer to come out. However our general contractor had already booked another provider to make the corrections, so we declined Bruce's offer.

The service was amazing....and the installers where very friendly and considerate...and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly...I was very pleased and happy that I chose this company for my furnace installation

Econoair was very easy to work with. They came to the house the same day we called and were very accomodating to our needs. The installers were very polite and very quick. They cleaned up after themselves and we hardly knew that they were in the house. I would, and have, recommend them to others.
