The owner and his team at Dessano Stucco Systems Inc., and his aluminum sub-contractor exceeded our expectations on our exterior home renovation project. While our house is relatively small, there were numerous challenges and complexity in renovating our older home, and we are discerning, technically focused homeowners.
There are so many positives about our experience. Not only was the final job well done, on time and on budget, but the customer service was off the charts. The owner is a great leader, calm, creative (helped us choose the right Durock white), great problem solver, highly responsive (only a
text or call away, with almost daily visits), and demonstrated a high
attention to detail. All team members are professional skilled trades, personable with a strong work ethic and keen interest in showcasing the best end product, to the extent that we were happy to hug and celebrate the results together!
We were transparent upfront that we needed remediation from rotting
wood due to prior water damage. Other contractors we interviewed
dismissed this and expected to stucco over the damage. Needless to say we interviewed numerous frogs or should I say frauds before we found our Prince, Dessano Stucco Systems Inc.
With the off-white stucco and iron ore aluminum, our old house has transformed from cute, but in need of TLC to super cool curb appeal,

Right from our first conversation, it was clear that Marco's objective was to understand my likes/dislikes and develop a proposal that would make our place look as good as possible. For example, he spent an extraordinary amount of time & effort in helping us select the colour that we felt we liked, but more importantly worked properly with the brick and soffit we had to match. The work crew was probably the best I'd ever seen in that they were highly competent and did an outstanding job of containing the "mess" on my property, but a full clean up after each day's work. (My neighbors were highly impressed.) Finally he went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed properly, as he would likely do on his own home - eg. moving electrical outlets, installing lighting, and obtaining and installing venting that worked with the new stucco siding. We highly recommend Marco and the Dessano team for your project.

Our builder, Iron 6, recommended Dessano. From start to finish the Dessano team was some of the best we have worked with. Marcos honesty and advice was very much welcomed and left us with a beautiful finish on our home. We had heard horror stories about stucco in the past, but Marco explained the install process and the quality of products and ingredients that Dessano uses and that set us at ease. Make sure you do your research! We know now thanks to Marco that not all stucco is the same quality. He recommended colours and took the guesswork off our plate. Our install team was VERY professional. Theyve been with Dessano for over 20 years and their experience shows through their great work! I cannot recommend Dessano more, fantastic company and owner!

Marco and his team took care of my home like it was their own home. Always respectful and honest, Marco took the time to listen to my questions (and I have lots), provided me with options and things to think about, and was patient as I made decisions. His team was careful with my home, and helpful as they took care of things. Based on his direction, I have new stucco, caulking, siding, soffits/fascia, pot lights, eavetroughs - with leaf guards, new skylights, and a new roof! Marco's support is invaluable, and as a result, he's the only one I will ever call for guidance and help around the house.

A neighbour used Dessano several years ago for exterior stucco work and I've always admired the job so when the time came for extensive work on my exterior, I ultimately decided on Dessano as well. Marco from Dessano had Andrew and Stan do an outstanding stucco job on our 85 year old house 16 years ago They insulated then applied new stucco. Our heating bills went way down. This year, we called Marco again and had Dessano repair some holes that we had made, power wash the 16 year old stucco, and repaint the whole house- 3 stories of stucco . It is fabulous!

This job was done back in the summer of 2020 so this review comes a bit late, but better late than never I guess.

Marco and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job on some exterior stucco I needed done on the front of my home around a 2nd story window, as well as under the top roof line. I'm super picky, and Marco was patient with me in deciding on the exact colour I wanted. The amount of detail in his work truly amazing. In fact most other Stucco contractors told me that only flat stucco could be done with no detailed mouldings.

I could not be happier with the job he did. I still to this day, 3 years later, stand in front of my house and admire the work his team did.
