I was very impressed with the home inspection conducted by Brenton Pilling, of AmeriSpec Calgary S. He was very thorough and careful, and provided me with detailed feedback and instruction on any issues, how to solve them, and what to watch out for as a new home owner in my new house. His indepth inspection and written report with such detail along with the common sense advice have proven to be invaluable to us in planning for our new home. We met with Tate, the owner of Americspec, who did a really great job and was very honest with our home inspection. He was very thorough – checking the attic and roof – and walked us through the property to show us what he was inspecting. He also gave us some great home improvement tips.

I was not present for the actual inspection of the house, but everything seemed okay. The report provided after the inspection satisfied my bank. However, I found it lacking detail and too generic.

He was very professional, answered all our questions, took his time and was very thorough – checking every corner of the house. What really impressed me was the report booklet he provided at the conclusion of the inspection. It contained a lot of detailed information, which was useful when talking to insurance companies. It also included tips for homebuyers on how to maintain the home.
