We were promised the A-list installers who the owner raved about. The day of the install, we got instead, the fill-in installers. That would have been fine but they didn't want to take the extra time to carefully remove the older windows from our 53 year old single storey house, so they broke a lot of them and had glass flying around inside the house, resulting in noticeable, multiple gouge marks to pieces of our pristine $10 000 + bedroom set, that by the way, no one cared to bring to our attention during the big rush job. Every time I look at those marks it really upsets me! The wooden windows have vinyl on the outside which looks good. The interior wood trim work is complete garbage though, with huge gaps, misalignments, cheap wood, and too many layers of different sized trim with different wood. It looks so cheap, it's embarrassing. They said they never finish the wood, that we would have to get that done. Well, a professional painter messed up one window he stained and blamed it on the cheap wood. My husband and I have yet to finish staining the rest of the windows because there is too much fill and sanding to do. If we would have seen ahead of time exactly what we were getting, we would have declined. Is that what one gets from having odd sized windows that have to be built up to fit the window sizes available today? My husband and I would have gladly paid more money to get an upgrade on the woodwork, if we would have known how poorly it was going to turn out. We were happy with the new, bigger, modern entry doors, and that they could replace some of the living room windows with a huge one in the middle. Unfortunately, that window ended up showing a small crack and when they replaced the window, they messed up some of the trim through prying it off and just putting it back on. I wouldn't ever go back or recommend them.
