I have a good pair of studio reference monitors that I like a lot. Mackie HR624. They started failing a while back (auto turn-on not working). I did a bit of research on issues with old capacitors failing. Oscar came and picked them up. He had a look and took the time to explain the issue to to me. He gave me an affordable option to replace a capacitor in each, or to replace all (he explained how the others were on their way to failing at some point). Although I chose the cheaper option, he ended up replacing all the capacitors in one of the speakers that was having trouble, at no extra charge, to get it working properly for me. When he brought the speakers to me, he showed me photos of the bad capacitors to compare to the ones that were still functioning well. He was friendly and informative, and I had a strong feeling that he cares about doing good work. I doubt most people would have cared as much as he did. So, I will be going to him for all my electronics repairs, and recommend him to anyone who needs repairs. In my case, my perfectly decent reference monitors are working perfectly again, and I did not have to go out and buy a new pair for hundreds of $600+ tx.
