We are experienced property investors with 9 properties. We purchased a building that closed at the end of February. The previous owner hid the fact that he had to babysit the High Efficiency boiler every few days and reset the error codes. When we developed problems in November we called in the company that originally installed the system and were told it was a flow problem and new piping and a new magnetic dirt or sediment separator would help. We were given a verbal estimate of $2 to $3 thousand. Bill came in unexpectedly at close to $6 thousand. After multiple service calls, the system was still not working and they never could figure out what the problem was we decided to not waste any more time or money with this company. The new company pointed out the problems with the setup and incorrect sizing of the pipes. We ended up ripping out the boiler and most of the $6 thousand piping. High efficiency boilers are extremely finicky. Do your research. Improper installation and incorrect setup will lead to endless problems and service calls. Find a company that knows what they are doing. Here is a photo of the pipes being ripped out. $6 thousand down the drain. The company will no doubt give a polite response.

I hate to have to write a poor review about a local company, but Oosterveld Henk really squandered our time and energy. This company was quick to offer our family a favourable deal at the quote and contracting phase, and then once the work was scheduled, we got phone call after phone call explaining how they wouldn't go good on the terms of the signed contract (interest rate much different than promised, a free upgrade with purchase now only available if we agreed to spend more). Ultimately, what Oosterveld Henk offered us in the signed contract was so different from what they were prepared to go good on, that they cancelled our contact the day before the install, leaving us back at square one with a furnace/air conditioner that urgently needs to be replaced, and much time and energy wasted. Based on my experience with Oosterveld Henk, I recommend not becoming involved with them at all.

Disaster company. Poorly managed and "cheap". Do not expect a high quality install job being done. Completely messed up installation of our HVAC system. Gas leeks everywhere. Poor soldering quality ... No refund possible ... Watch out. My neighbor also had a disastrous experience with them. They must be protected by Costco so they do not care about their legacy and reputation.

When my furnace conked out this weekend, Jeff came out to figure out the problem and offer options. Jeff just left my place after fixing my furnace. The bill was exactly what he quoted and my house is becoming toastier by the minute. These folks are great!

Everyone in this company did an excellent job. From the informed salesman (Gerry) to the guys that came to do the install. Install for A/C and new furnace only took 2 days and the guys had an excellent attitude and work ethic. The electrical inspector came today and said, "Oh ya, they are one of our best contractors, they do good work".

Great friendly service. Had furnace and air installed in 2 days. Sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful us with any questions we had. Rebates took along time not the time frame that was given. Thanks for your services.

I'm very disappointed by my recent experience purchasing a furnace with Oosterveld. I was quoted a price that included a chimney liner I was told would be necessary. When my furnace was installed and I did not need a chimney liner, I was charged a higher price than I'd expected.

When I called the office to get clarification, the office admin told me I'd need to speak to the salesperson. When I spoke to him, he told me he couldn't help me, and when I asked him with whom I could speak, he told me I'd need to talk to the office admin who had already told me I’d need to speak to him, Since I was just getting the runaround, I wrote the owner. He never replied.

We hired them to replace our furnace and AC and also help us heat a room above a crawl space. Once the main work on the furnace and AC was completed we were left out to dry with the regards to heating the room above the crawl space. It seemed as though they said whatever it took to get the furnace and AC business and after that was done they didn't really care about the smaller job. I dealt with a sales guy, the office manager, and even the owner and between all of them they kept dropping the ball time and again. I would definitely think twice before hiring this company to do any work in your home.

Really amazing company, from the girls at the front desk to the service staff and the installers. They were really creative in fixing a water leakage in our furnace, with minimal cost. They were creative in putting a duct in a room that didn't have one. We also bought an air conditioner, and was impressed with the knowledge of the sales man, and who didn't try to sell the most expensive, but the best for our home. When a repair was needed they were very prompt and thorough. I would totally recommend them to anyone.

They came early which was a great thing and were punctional on time, they came and fixed the air conditioner which was blowing hot air in 32 degree Celsius weather! I was overall content because of their their immediate response to us. However, I wish their price was more cheaper, but I guess that somewhere about where a technition would charge. Overall, would recommend!
