The Granite Shop Inc

After receiving a few estimates this company was the lowest. Not by much, but by a little. The thing that put it over the top was the service. They explained exactly what would happen, arranged a plumber to come and do the work needed (other companies did not even tell me I needed one, let alone arrange for it) and co ordinated with the plumber to cause me the least inconvienience.

I gave it a 4/5 for satisfaction as there is a join where noticable and I don't know if that would have been with all companies or not. there is a small chip that they would come out to fix but I was waiting for a follow up 'satisfaction' call that did not come. It isn't major so I will not worry.

I purchased quartz from the Granite Shop during my kitchen reno. Although I was spending $5k for their services they were extremely late to laser measure my countertop (I had a 9am appointment but the guy didn't show up until 11:30am). The day of the install I had a 9am appointment so I took the morning off of work- YET AGAIN they didn't show up on time... this time showing up around 3pm this after I called to inquire where they were they threatened not to come at all. The product itself was great but I would never recommend this company unless you like waiting around the house all day and poor service after they get your $

Granite Shop-Calgary I have to admit I was nervous about using these guys as I saw a review on line suggesting they put their small jobs as less important. Since there was no bad reviews and granite slabs are beautiful, I went for it. But we were scheduled to have granite today and I tried to call the guys when three hrs late with out a call and my number was blocked. Than he called & said they got held up normally I don't mind but he originally told me I was second job of the day & then said they ran behind with two other jobs. So now I wasted a day waiting here & I feel like he was not honest with me. I am reasonable but tell me the truth & communicate better. So right now bad review..I' ll keep you posted on outcome.

Had the Counter-tops done in a house we flipped. We were very pleased with the service of the Granite Shop. From Sales to finished product we were more than pleased. I would recommend these services to family and friends.

they came to measure and he went beyond our expectations as well as the installers. Initially the cut angle was wrong and they replaced right away with a new 14' ft piece of new granite. They are still going to do the bathrooms.
