New Skylights Installed in Bedroom
We installed two new skylights in a dark bedroom. We love the new look! The room is 2 or 3 times brighter and we love spending time in the room. Even the roof looks improved from the outside, looks updated and special - the skylights are esthetically pleasing from inside and out. The solar shades are terrific and the venting option has increased the circulation in that room dramatically.
We like that Dennis came to our home to give us a quote. He explained the price difference between his and another company's to my satisfaction. I researched the skylights between the two companies and we are very happy with Velux. The workers showed up within an hour of the promised time. They worked hard, even coming back an extra day to ensure the quality of workmanship was good and everything was done right. They tried to keep things clean.
I was a little frustrated that after sending in the deposit, I had to follow-up twice asking for a start date (with no callback in between) on the installation, which went beyond the 1 - 2 week booking date we were told could be accommodated, and had hoped for.
In the end, we are happy overall with the service and product and would recommend this company to our family and friends!

It is good for our clients to do their research and find out what is most important to them when having work done on their home. I’m sorry to hear about how you were not completely satisfied with how things were handled right after you gave your deposit. We always send a confirmation of deposit after it is given and then give our clients a call once we have them in the schedule (which is usually about a 2-3 week lead time). As for your unreturned call I’m not quite sure what happened as we usually return all of our calls as soon as possible. We are taking this feedback and use it to improve that side of our in-office service.
