After reviewing this store's website my husband and I thought we were entering a furniture superstore, there were photos and descriptions of almost any peice of furniture available, including Ashley furniture; however, after we arrived at the store, it looked rather run down with virtually no cars in the small parking area. We were greeted by a friendly sales person and saw that the store only displays bedroom sets and futons [despite the name, the website seems to suggest otherwise]. We saw that there was a store promo to buy a bedroom set and get the boxspring and mattress for free, so we did see a set that we were interested in, and then were told that if we purchased a table that they could make a packaged deal. We ended up selecting a counter height table and 6 chairs as well as a king sized bedroom set, that was where the experience went sour. I have had experiences in the past with furniture stores not having the peice you have ordered and paid for in stock, and then they wait until you put a non-refundable deposit down to tell you it won't come for 4 months, so I addressed this concern with the sales person, I suppose his credibility was similar to that of an uneducated used car salesman, because he assured me and my husband that ALL of their furniture is shipped from California and it WOULD NOT BE ANY LONGER than 6 weeks, which was fine because we didn't need it for 7 weeks. So thank god I paid with my visa card and not cash, I suggest that you always pay with visa so that if there was any dispute there would be a third party to help you as a consumer. We were supposed to hear from the store 7 weeks later to confirm that everything was set to go as planned, instead we had to call and we were told that they would get back to us, only to find out that the bedroom set was in, but the table was delayed two weeks, so we agreed to wait the extra weeks. Two weeks went by and my husband received a call from a blocked number, where someone claimed to be the store manager saying that the table would be delayed another week and after we demanded to have our bedroom set at least, it finally arrived with plenty of damages. It also had several stamps of being made in Thailand, the delivery people also punched a hole right through the back of the dresser while trying to lift the box and damaged our walls in our 2 week old home. When I called to report the damages, the person told us we would get a call on Monday to confirm the action the store would take now, and also to follow up with the table. Two days after Monday again a blocked number called and said they would replace all the peices with damage which was very unneccesary. Nonetheless, another week went by and no table arrived as well as no replacement peices. I had gotten frustrated and called the store, they told me not to call there anymore and that the salesperson was wrong to tell us the table would be in for sure, and they even hung up on me several times. Once I got Visa involved, and they made phone calls to the store informing them of my issues, the table was delivered the following week. The repairs were another story, the new peices were worse than the first and they brought a head board that was too small. Now, a contracted repair person came out to repair the damages, but no compensation was offered. I was told by the store that the delay with the table was because I should have known the store doesn't sell tables so I should have known better than to wonder why it was delayed for 12 weeks. For anyone who wants to be treated fairly and receive merchandise that is worth what you pay for, I strongly suggest that you go to a reputable store that doesn't depend on your money to pay their rent. If you do by from a small store please use your visa despite the deal they are offering, because then you can have someone on your side to dispute if merchandise is not received in a timely fashion. But at all costs AVOID THIS STORE
