As my wife says - you can trust him. Very professional, knows his stuff, brings in excellent sub-contractors for specialized work (laying floors, mudding and taping, laying tiles, roofing for vents in bathroom and certified electricians), each artists in their own profession and very personable. Andy provided a detailed schedule, reasonable rates, explained what he was doing, would reach out if there were options to consider (such as extra outlets, where to hang the island lights, exact placement of the shower glass, etc.). He also reduced spacing around ducts to maximize cupboard space or re-level the plumbing as the builder had taken short cuts.

He is excellent with his finishing work as well; painting is well done, trim is good; the back-splash is flawless, rough-in for water for a future fridge, etc.. Products he selects (plumbing and lighting) are all top quality. He works closely with the cabinet maker and marble/granite counter-top companies to ensure all the timelines line up.

He is careful and thinks things through, such as laying down floor coverings, putting down cardboard before pushing the fridge or stove back into place; hanging up dust cloths and coverings to isolate work areas.

He was initially recommended by our kitchen cabinet maker (Applewood Kitchens) and we're glad we went with him. So much so that we went straight back to him for our ensuite bathroom. Very happy with the results. Kitchen was done in 2016 and the ensuite bathroom in 2017. we have also used some of his sub-contractors for additional work around the house.
