Installed quartz countertops that are defective. Ideal refuses to replace them because their supplier (TCE) won’t pay them for the new install. I am not the suppliers customer I am ideals customer. They should have known their agreement with their supplier did not include installation and I should have been made aware if there was anything wrong with them that I am stuck with them.
Ideal has instructed me to contact TCE and argue with them even though I’m not their customer (see text exchange). I have gotten feedback from TCE they will
Provide new slabs but ideal won’t replace them as “there was nothing wrong with the install.” However I paid ideal for the PRODUCT as well.
I have not been given ANY solution. Not a partial refund for the product, not any sort of compromise. They just took my money and left me with a counter that has random stains from nothing. I don’t even use my counters I always have to have a placemat no matter what I’m doing. There are weird almost condensation looking stains all over that can’t be captured with photos. They are extremely discoloured in addition to the constant stains.
