We had Bronte move a piano and some small items from Toronto to Burlington last week. Setting things up was easy and they arrived when they said . They assigned 3 people for the job - one veteran and two summer help. Lots of attitude from the older guy. There was a furniture piece we wanted moved from the second floor and there was no way he was going to do it . Said it wouldn't fit down the stairs and we must have renovated the place after it was moved upstairs. Well no renovations have taken place and there are larger couches and other furniture that has been moved recently . Just wasn't going to happen. Piano was moved all right. In all ended up paying over $1000 to just move a piano and a few odds and ends that only took one person 30 min to load . Now I still have to get someone else to come and move the other piece. Oh and the older guy kept telling me what a deal I was getting! Called the office and was promised the owner would call me back to discuss but never happened. At least they didn't damage anything.

When we spoke the other day i mention to you that the driver did try to move that item which was to big to make it down the tight stair case and he did try it in front of you and it was going to either damage the item or the walls or both. The driver has been in the moving business for 29 years and is very good at his job as are the other two helpers. I am happy to hear nothing was damaged. Sometimes items need to be dismantled to make them fit around tight turns,this item being a large armoir would need to be taken apart by someone in that type of business.
