Dealt with Cabinet Door Depot / Kitchen Door Depot back in 2011 for some matching additions to my existing kitchen cabinetry. The service was then impeccable and I was extremely pleased with the outcomes! So … now that I am renovating my weekend property, I returned to CDD for suggestions and advise on how to best proceed with my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Joe (the owner) even remembered me! I am definitely not a renovation expert but with his continuous guidance and availability, his attention to details and patience along the way, I was able to complete this project on my own, with professional looking results while saving an enormous amount of money, this without the stress of dealing with multi-layer suppliers. The measurements were exactly as I had submitted, the materials were as I had chosen, the pieces were individually packaged for ease in transport, and ready for my pick up as previously discussed. We had the best experience with Kitchen Door Depot (also known as Cabinet Door Depot). We wanted to put in new cabinets in part of our kitchen and keep some of the existing cabinets. The challenge was how to make the kitchen cohesive. After A LOT of back and forth (a returned kitchen to Ikea) we decided to get Ikea cabinets for our new cabinets and have custom doors made to go on both the old and new cabinets.
There was some skepticism buying from an online company, but they are very good at giving advice and help over the phone and email. I highly recommend you get directly in touch with them to take advantage of their customer service and not just do it on your own because you think you have to.
They send mini door samples so you can see what they'll look like for $20 which is then applied against your order. We measured and remeasured before putting the order through and were amazed that all the doors fit perfectly. Along with fixtures from Lee Valley the cabinets are even more than I could have hoped for. Along with discount granite counter and a new faucet and backsplash this was an incredibly economical way to update our old '80's kitchen.
