Horatiu was our first line of contact and he returned calls and emails promptly plus he listened carefully to our requests and followed up accurately and efficiently. The front line workers Salah and Alex were respectful of our property, they explained what they were doing and were patient with our questions. Jay Fencing was replacing our old deck upstairs on Friday of the May long week-end 2022. On Saturday when they were going to finish the storm
hit and brought down a 40' pine tree on the flat roof above, the new deck
and garage and car. Luckily the guys did not come back Saturday or they
would have been up there working. No one was injured, just a lot of trees
down. It has been almost a year and the insurance has finally replaced
the decking Jay did so they could finish their job. Jay had his guys out two days later to finish and even had his guys fix a trip hazard on the
landing our contractor said he did.
Jay was very accommodating and patient and did a great job finishing up.
We are happy we chose Jay Fencing.

We contracted Jay Fencing in late July 2021 for a challenging project at our home. in this area of Guelph the ground condition is very rocky and difficult to auger the post holes. this along with several elevation changes were handled very well. Jay Fencing provide an accurate quote and excellent service. The crews were exceptionally efficient and polite.

The fence was installed and we are very happy. Unfortunately I damaged a gate and called to have it fixed. I was told that the minimum charge would be $1800. This is price gouging! They installed the fence but the after sales service is terrible.

Kelly was exceptional to work with in quoting, installing and working around a very wet fall for making the fencing project happen. We are thrilled to have a fence finally after a long summer of dirt and dust and no lawn. Our dog loves it too!

We thought we went for the safer and more reputable choice when Jay Fencing matched a competing quote; however, we were sorely disappointed with the products and service we received. Jay Fencing substituted cheaper materials and attempted to charge the full quoted price. There were unrealistic delays at every step of the process, and because our pool had already been installed by the time they installed the fence, we were held prisoner and forced to accept a fence we didn't choose. Despite the quote being based on the competing quotes measurements and price to be increased or decreased based on actual installed amounts, they went ahead and charged for additional fencing. when they were called on that, they padded the invoice with a lot of additional fees to make up for the difference. On day of install (after weeks of delays) they no longer 'felt comfortable' determining our fence line, despite having a copy of a recent survey for months. I have never had a worse experience with a contractor. The situation is still not resolved. It is also interesting to see positive reviews here mentioning fast and efficient service during the time period our project was delayed. End result, fence is poorly installed, we were overcharged in the neighborhood of $3000 and we don't even have the fence we ordered.

Jay Fencing recently worked on our fence and they were wonderful to deal with. From providing a detailed quote to the completion of the work, we were extremely pleased with their service. The price very reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. They completed the work according to schedule and much, much quicker than any other companies could have done the work.
I would absolutely recommend them to others.

When high winds blew our wooden fence down this spring we accelerated our plans to redo our backyard with a long-lasting, low-maintenance fence. Multiple crews tackled our large job and even during stormy weather they did a fabulous job and completed the project on budget and on schedule. We couldn't be more happy.
