I recently had the pleasure of working with Tarek and Kristen with the purchase of my new home in Carrington. As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions, and did my fair share of shopping around/due diligence. From my first interaction at the sales center, I was very impressed with their willingness to answer any questions, while not being pushy or overpowering. Moreover, I really appreciated their ability sense what I valued in my future home, and providing me with genuine advice for features/upgrades.

Subsequent to the purchase, the team consistently communicated updates surrounding construction updates, including weekly pictures and a brief update regarding progress. This was great, as I was constantly in the loop surrounding the status of my build. During the construction phase, I received a detailed walkthrough of the home (which was scheduled and communicated well in advance). Construction and completion of the home occurred in an organized and timely manner.

Overall, a very high level of organization was evident from the initial purchase to the possession phase of my home. Tarek and Kristen are true professionals who are genuinely passionate about what they do, and made my first home purchase a completely stress free experience. Would not hesitate to build with Excel in the future.

I would recommend Excel to any family and friends who are in the market for a new home.
The service you receive is amazing, the staff really do care and really offer support with these big decisions. If you ask for their opinion on a selection they will be honest and help you build a beautiful new home that once it is all put together looks amazing! We are very happy with our new home and happy with the service we received from Doug and Faryn in Mahogany.
This is a long process and purchasing a new home can be very stressful but they answered any emails or phone calls quickly regardless of the time of day (8am, 9pm etc) to ensure that we received a response quickly.

I recently took possession of an Excel home and didn’t realize I paid almost half a million for a house in order to not use the garage. Parked up to the stairs in the garage and still sticking out by a foot. The other side of the garage will be occupied with an intermediate sized car, so essentially one side of the garage is useless. Measurements on their floor plan list the garage as 21’0” x 19’6” but the inside of the garage is 19’7” x 18’10”. Apparently the listed measurements are for the outside but not sure how anyone buying a house could decide if the garage is the right fit. If I was given the correct measurements of this garage I would have never bought this house since the garage does not even accommodate my car. I understand that space is an issue with a growing population but we were also told that a standard garage is 20’x20’. Not exactly sure how a family with a van or anyone with a truck or just a long car in general can even fit. Am I suppose to just sacrifice my car to even use the garage in my own house. Extremely disappointed with Excel and the misleading information that we were given.

Pretty much just paid for a house that is essentially useless.

Recently I purchased a Home Exel duplex in Savanna NE and I came across to one noise in one of the bedroom upstrais, is like when we walk in this particular place it makes like a aluminum noise ( metal noise). Is annoying. I contact the person in charge of this area in Savanna and just keep tell me that it's ok is not a safety issue. I guess we spend $417000 for a house and comes with this kind of noise is shameful for the builder.
Hope they came and do something about it because I will put a complaint to Calvary building society.

Just purchased a home through Excel Homes. Doug in Mahogany was very accommodating and really guided us through this process. I felt comfortable with every step and was happy with the purchase. We were considering multiple builders in the area but Doug's expertise and friendliness helped solidify our choice.

We moved in to our new house in Cochrane about 3 weeks ago. We are very pleased with the finishes and follow ups on any problems. We took possession a little before the date we had expected. This is our first time building, so we didn't know what to expect. The people at Excel helped us through the process of choosing options without being pushy or judgemental. We are thrilled with our gorgeous home!

I just moved in my new beautiful home in new NW Calgary community. I have had a great experience so far in dealing with the representatives of Excel Homes In Carringvue. Tarek, Sales Manager and Kristen, Senoir Sales are awesome, very professional and knowledgeable. They have assisted me from the beginning and to the end, I had some issues with finance before the possession, but Tarek helped me a lot with negotiations and even helped on mortgages. They are always there to listen to any concerns I may have and try to solve issues in a timely manner. Excel Homes onsite construction team and warranty team are awesome, Jay-D from warranty team contact me 2 weeks after the possession to check if everything goes well, I was mentioned my central vacuum doesn't work properly, they arranged someone come over in a short time, I was out of home for some reason, then the onsite construction manager, Ian was able to follow my instructions to open the door for the electronic tech come in the house for checking. Great experience with Excel Homes. Highly recommend!

We have had a great experience so far in dealing with the representatives of Excel Homes In Mahogany. Doug, the sales manager, is very professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the building process. He has assisted us in making decisions about our new home right from the onset. He listens to any concerns we may have had and try to solve issues in a timely manner.

We recently moved into our new Excel Home and words cannot express how easy, convenient, considerate, and fantastic our experience was with the Excel Team in Hillcrest! From our incredible Sales Associate Jamie, to the Area Manager David, and the Office Administrator Kim each person made our experience spectacular and special. Jamie helped us find the perfect home that we were looking for and went out of her way to make sure we received exactly what we wanted in our new home. During the decision making process she gave us very valuable suggestions with selections that helped give additional perspective on choices that would compliment our home as well as our personal style. The Hillcrest Sales team exhibits great focus on customer service, quality, and a positive customer experience, and Jamie is an associate that exudes this quality. Once the building started, the whole process felt so stress free and everything was taken care of with great consideration of our requests. We were completely blown away by our Site Supervisor Jason. He always made sure to check in with us and he is such a truly genuine person, always making us feel comfortable and you can really tell he truly cares about his clients. Jason and his team take great pride in their work, and that is shown in the quality of work they placed in our home. If there were ever any issues they were promptly addressed and we were always informed which made us feel comfortable and a part of the process. There are so many other amazing team members, like Nathan who oversaw the building process and Jerry who managed Quality Care. Thank you so much to the entire Excel Team for giving us such a fantastic experience through this entire process. You made the journey of us building our first home so memorable and such a positive experience. We love our new home and we will be forever grateful for all that you have done for us. Thank you for making such a huge life moment feel so very special. We will definitely recommend Excel Homes to our friends and family in the future!

We recently stared the process to build in Mahogany and have had such a great experience! From the show home, to the selections and the realistic payment options- everything has been easy and we never felt pressured. Doug and Faryn have been great to work with and provide excellent customer service. Can't wait to get into our new home this winter!
