We had our front deck replaced by Town and Country (The Deck Store) in 2009. We provided a detailed scale model of what we wanted, as our deck required multiple levels that had to be fitted exactly within a very defined space. The deck had to be anchored to the house fountain on three sides, as well as to two retaining walls. The deck steps ended at a sloped concrete driveway, which necessitated careful measuring and cutting to ensure that the rise followed the slope of the concrete. Our design also included two built-in planters and installation of metal railings. We are very happy with the result! We believe the main reason for this successful job is due to the fact that Town and Country hired Tim Gunter to do this job for us. We highly recommend Tim! Town and Country sent another person to install the railing, but he did an extremely poor job. He couldn't even figure out how to centre the wickets. If you use this firm for a job, please insist that ONLY Tim do the job for you!
