We bought our house in 2005 and soon realized that the windows were cheap and not energy-efficient. They actually had ice on them (on the inside of the house) in the winter and all of the "cranks" kept breaking. So we decided to replace them and the patio door. We went to the home show and filled in ballots at every window booth. Nuden Vinyl called and then came by to give us a free estimate. The owner was a great salesman and convinced us that he was giving us a great deal, but we later found out that we over-paid by more than $20,000. We were stupid to not get several bids and to fall for the "this deal will be gone tomorrow" line. The installation was spotty, took a long time and one of the installers was suspiciously absent a lot. The contract was vague and there was no breakdown of charges. Kind of a shady operation, which may explain why they are under new ownership.

Tracy sorry to hear you feel this way, your contract was for only $14,000 not sure why you are saying this, the windows you now have will never need to be replaced yes they do cost much more then plastic windows call me and we can talk im sure we can work something out
