Salter Electric

September 28th, 2024 the power to my residence was down a good part of the day and it never came back on. I contacted Ottawa Hydro and got no response when it would be resolved.
As I previously had a conversation with Steve he advised me that the system wad down. No were to turn, I phoned Steve who then phoned his wife and was told the system was back on around 12:00 p.m. He had me take pictures to send to him. H quicky diagnosed the situation and walked me through. It worked fine. All the power came back on. Again thanks Steve for taking your time while you were doing some other work.

Mr. Salter has performed multiple electrical services at my home including ceiling lights, service for an electrical fireplace, electrical car plug-in, and most recently an outdoor electrical switch for a waterfall.
He is a pleasant competent person with an excellent assistant and will schedule his attendance to a mutually acceptable time. I highly recommend him.

I've done several projects with Salter electrical over a period of 15 years, Steve and Ryan are both knowledgeable and professional and have always priced jobs fairly. I would recommend Salter electrical to all my family and friends .

We had copper pigtail done in 2021. Due to unforeseeable issue, had to call Salter Electric today as Some of the electrical components of our home or not working despite panel being reset. Salter Electric was quick to respond and remedy the issue. Pricing was very fair. Satisfied with services received ; would highly recommend. Pricing is reasonable.

Steve and his partner were very professional, courteous and accommodating. There were some unforeseen obstacles that came up in the job, due to our house being older and upgrades to the Electrical Code, and Steve was able to overcome all of them without problem and only a minor increase in cost. I called and got the answer that he was heading home but would be at my place in ten minutes. Steve spotted the problem that others had missed within minutes. He really knows the trade and work efficiently and effectively. All work was completed under an hour. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing any electrical work done.

In addition to commercial projects, I use Salter Electric for household projects. Recently, they installed new fixtures, a fan, wall switches and fixed stray wiring. The work was done very fast, ontime arrival, and all rooms left clean.

Previously, they carried out audits of all my household wiring and sockets, finding many deficiencies and upgrading as needed. This was done at a reasonable cost. A must for older houses.
