Followed by professional workmen who know what they are doing, are courteous, efficient and hard working. They show up when they are supposed to, keep you informed every step of the way and are willing to accommodate a change in the scope of the project even once the work had been started. They will only consider a job completed when you are 100% satisfied with the end result. Dealing with the office staff is an equally pleasant experience.

I've done plenty of renovation work over the years and I'm definitely not a newbie. John Baxter was able to explain the work in detail, answer my many questions, and ultimately win our trust. Job was done within the time frame mentioned & Otto periodically came to check in on the job as the contracted team worked fairly quickly! I am delighted to provide the highest recommendation for Otto Masonry. We engaged them for an extensive rebuild of our large stone front porch and stairway. Every team member I dealt with was helpful, professional and very experienced. Brian, the estimator, was patient and thorough in gauging the scope of our work. Marie Jo at the office was charming. Joseph and John completed the masonry and were absolute perfectionists. And they are so nice! As the work progressed, Joseph and John suggested refinements to our plan in many small ways, which I gratefully accepted. The quality and look of the outcome exceeded my expectations.

Because this was a big investment, I got 5 quotes at the outset and Otto Masonry was in mid-range of these. Of these, Otto Masonry stood out as the most quality oriented, thorough and professional (and nice!).

We called Otto to tuckpoint, parge wall under the back deck, and replace 65 spalled bricks on the chimney breast and the front porch pillar on my son's east Toronto semi after the super job he did on our house 13 yrs ago. Otto did the estimate promptly and checked back regularly as the work progressed. The crew headed by Eduardo, were polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. The replacement bricks were such a good match that you could hardly tell them from the 100-year-old ones already in place and they took the time to colour-match the mortar. They pressure washed the finished areas to remove any excess mortar 'stains' and also washed any dust that fell into the A/C unit. They deserve all the accolades they get on HomeStars. A quality, solid, trustworthy business.

I highly recommend this company after they delivered as expected. They fixed the concrete on my porch and front walk and reinstalled the hand rails. This is a customer service oriented company with nice people to work with who care about the job they do. I would call on them again for all my future masonry work.
