Our furnace was acting up on a cold day and I called Renato, not thinking he would be available to come by that day. He made the time to come by as we were talking on the phone, and he made the necessary repairs to have our furnace functioning again. He also changed out our old thermostat. I was pleased with his reliability and prompt service call.

Renato Boskovie originally came to our house to service our furnace. He was punctual, courteous and very informative. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and was very thorough. He not only serviced our furnace but also changed the filter in our humidifier (which we had unfortunatel neglected to change in a long time) and provided us with information about the best filters to use. He was so thorough that he actually also changed the batteries in our thermostat for us as we hadn't done so yet.
While he was servicing our furnace I mentioned to him that we had issues in the winter with our furnace shutting off because snow would either form or be sucked into the pipe no matter what we did. Renato explained to us that the pipes outside our house (responsible for taking fresh air in and exhaust out) had been done improperly. Our fresh air intake was too close to the floor and there was insufficient spacing between the intake and the exhaust which caused condensation to form in the pipe which would then form snow/ice which choked the furnace and caused it to shut down). He then took time out of his busy schedule to come back a second time to our home in the same day to fix the issue (he actually left to get materials he needed and after another appointment squeezed us in). We were very impressed with him and he was the first person to accurately identify the issue and correct it. We had contacted numerous other companies in regards to this issue before and they just told us we would have to go outside and clean out the pipe manually whenever it happened (not practical when this happens numerous times in WINTER!). All in all we were very impressed and his services were reasonably priced given that he addressed two issues (regular service +correcting faulty piping). We would not hesitate to recommend him or to use him again in the future.

Our furnace broke and with two kids, I panicked. We got a salesman in from a big company and he suggested we changed both the furnace and the air conditioner! Gave us a ridiculous price. Then a friend recommended Renato and we cannot be any happier. Not only did Renato suggested an appropriate furnace for the size of our house, he also gave us a quote that was beyond reasonable. He was also honest enough to tell us that he would only change the air conditioner if it is needed after he can have a better look inside. Renato delivered everything he promised and beyond. They came ahead of schedule knowing we have young kids, and completed the job in a professional and timely manner. We found a little water drip on a pipe the night of the installation and we called Renato. He assured us it was not a major issue and came the very next morning to fix the small leak. We would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone.

We needed our 17 year old furnace replaced and called Renato without hesitation as he serviced our furnace in the past. As always, he was on time. He thoroughtly explained the various high efficiency furnaces available and recommended one that would work well for our home. Replacement was quick and efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves. He also replaced the humidifier and explained how to properly use it. As always, Renato goes above and beyond, I always recommed him to friends and family. Excellent customer service.

Woke up this morning with an unresponsive furnace. Checked on this site, called this company, and Renato arrive about an hour later. Two hours after that, the broken motor was replaced and the house was warm. Also, Renato helpfully explained the maintenance needs of the attached humidifier, which wasn't broken but needed the filter replaced (I didn't know there even was a filter or that you had to replace that every year, and it had been a long time since we got it). He replaced the filter for free.

I hired Renato to replace my furnace. I thought he and his guys (Derek and Walter) were awesome! Renato was quick, true to all he promised. He gave me what I thought was a very fair price after calling a few companies. Most importantly I thought he and his guys did an excellent job installing the furnace. They were on time, efficient, knowledgeable and everything looked clean, organized and properly installed when it was done. It was more complicated because I had a very old furnace and they needed to install new venting, rebuild the plenum, etc. They did all that and also fixed an issue with my water heater exhaust and solved a few other minor issues all very efficiently and cleanly and without even charging any extra for extra few things they did for me. I will be bringing them back in the spring to replace my A/C. I definitely recommend them. Thanks again Renato!!

I had Renato perform annual heater maintenance and replace my humidifier. He came the same day when I called him and finished the job by the end of the day. He purchased all the parts needed for replacement. His work was clean and attitude very professional. Pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend Renato without hesitation.

Sometimes when I have gotten people to do work on homestars that have great reviews, they are almost too busy with work to give good service. Renato had great communication and really focuses on each job. He is very knowledgable and explains as he works about what he is doing and why. He repaired a few things which were not done properly when our furnace was initially installed by someone else. He will be the person I will contact in the future.

Had Renato back to do the annual fall maintenance on the furnace he installed back in 2008. I had heard a noise coming from the furnace last winter - before I even had a chance to mention it to him, he had already found the motor with a bad bearing. His advice in 2008 to buy a 10-year extended warranty was excellent advice - it has saved me a lot of time, and anxiety. His media filters are considerably cheaper than buying them at the local supplier too. Excellent after-installation service.

I had an old a/c unit that was situated at the side yard by the previous homeowners 17 years ago. When a monster home went up next door, they forced me to move the unit. I called Renato after reviewing Homestars and he came to my home the next day and gave me a very fair price and told me not to worry. He just finished the job with 2 of his installers. What a fantastic job! They had to cut a hole in the basement ceiling since they were moving the new unit to the other side of the house. No mess, minimal impact to the ceiling, new cement pad and a beautiful new a/c. These guys know what they're doing and are extremely professional.
