Leather Lux Sofa

NEVER TO WALIA DISCOUNT MART!
i bought a sofa. I was told it was 100% leather. when they delivered the sofa set it was damaged from one corner. when i look carefully it wasnt even leather it was cheap quality rexine. i call them, talked to the owner Mr. Lucky, he was trying to convince me that its bicast leather, but i bought it bcz it was 100 % leather as i was told by the sales rep Gurujeet. I went to store and wanted to talk to that sales rep they said he quit. I sue them. i took court papers to the other branch of Walia discount mart to get it sighned by the owner. and nobody was willing to sign the papers. then one guy Rocky signed it and threatened me that his wife is a lawer and he was a police officer (huh! and he was working in a third class furniture store for not more than 15 dollars an hour!). Dear people, the bottom line is that if they delivered you wrong product or if misrepresent the product just take them to court. dont pay 25% restocking fee as they ask me too. in the first trail they didnt show up i won then they appealed. they think that i will give up. but i wont! even if i have to fight for the rest of my life. i am also thinking to take this issue to media.

3 Piece Leather Sofa Set

NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY FROM WALIA DISCOUNT MART

The wrong furniture was delivered to our home and we have spent the last 2 weeks trying to convince them that we have the wrong furniture and are attempting to get the correct furniture delivered.

We have spoken with 8 different people at their "head office", none of which were helpful or competent. We've been bounced around between people and put on hold more times than I can count.

Postscript:
This is an update to my previous review. We were delivered the wrong style of sofa set - one that was not a nice and not as comfortable as the one we picked out in the showroom. By the time someone from Walia finally told us the truth, that the sofa set we had ordered and paid for would not be delivered (not on backorder and not available) they had been giving us the runaround for 1 1/2 months. Since they would not (or could not) deliver the correct furniture we requested a refund, which they refused. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and after a few back-and-forths they finally agreed to a refund. We were promised a pickup around 6pm the following Wed. by Nimisha. 6:30 that night we called head office to find we weren't on the schedule at all. Were we lied to? Are they just incompetent? Who knows! We finally did get a pickup and refund the following Wed. - 2 full weeks after a refund was promised in writing to the BBB. Refund was only 75% because the 25% restocking fee is stated on original invoice and we were just too tired after 3 1/2 months of fighting to fight for the other 25%. We're just glad it's finally over. BUYER BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM WALIA!
They are impolite and don't return phone calls.

Zero customer service and zero honesty.

They acknowledge that we have the wrong furniture, tell us it's "basically the same" but eventually promise a re-delivery. Next they seem to forget our conversations and try to convince us we have the right furniture. Next they try to tell us we have a "nicer" set than the one we had paid for in-store. Now we are AGAIN trying to convince them we have the wrong furniture.

We'll probably end up losing 25% just as the previous reviewer did and learning our lesson to deal only with well-established, respectable companies in the future.

Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"?

7 pc bedroom set

NEVER EVER EVER buy anything from this company, we were told something would be delivered and never was then after practically hunting these people down we were told it was on its way for several days.... god knows from where and they tried to wrap up a display model and ship it to our home at 9 pm on a friday night they consistently are rude and hang up the phone and have zero customer service skills the manager of the whitby store suggested I come and teach him customer service if i thought i knew better, oh yah and to cancel an order it will cost you a quarter of the price of the item in our case it was 650$ but its a small price compared to the hassle we endured while being their so called customers
