I bought a dinette table back in August, when it was delivered,they sent the wrong table. I went to the store the next day to the store manager. I showed him the invoice and asked if he put the right item number on the invoice, he said yes. Then he stated I should call the head office number which I did. After playing telephone tag I talked to a lady. After explaining that the wrong table was sent many times,she agreed to send me a new one, which took three weeks and many phone calls by me,a new delivery date was set up and they never showed up. Another call to home office and a new delivery time was set for the next day. This time they showed up, when I opened the box it was the wrong table again.
When I called the pickering store the manager said he will come to the house and check it out, when he did he started saying that, the table we picked is no longer made. He confirmed that we were sent the wrong table. The next day I was talking to the lady at the home office she stated she talked to the Pickering manager and he told her, I was sent the right table. After being on the phone forever she then stated the the manufacture has changed the product so we got the right table.
This store commits fraud everyday after what I have read. I understand it is a discount store but if a store is out of the product you chose, they must let you know not just send
whatever they like, in my case the table they sent I already have it so I have two tables execatly the same.
