The only appliance installer I will use

This is the second time I have used Universal, and both experiences were outstanding, so I was surprised to see the negative reviews. The first time was a refrigerator replacement. Turned out the pipe for the ice maker for the old fridge was in the wall, but the new fridge required it to be extended. I thought I might end up without an icemaker, but the installer kept his cool, got some of his co-workers to come and help, and got the job done. So when I moved and required all new appliances, I immediately asked for Universal to be the installers for everything. This time, Jason did all the work. He was neat and efficient. We had a problem with the delivery of the fridge, so he had to come back to install it. He came at 7 a.m. so we would not be without a fridge over the long weekend, fitting us into his already full schedule. Wanda, who is my contact in the office, has always been very pleasant and gotten me the help I needed when I needed it.
I cannot recommend Universal highly enough. They deserve the highest
rating. A pleasure to deal with.

We hired Universal Appliance to install our new dishwasher. Great job!

We hired Universal Appliance to uninstall old dishwasher and install a new one. They provided a quote by phone. Technician came on time and was super friendly and polite. After 30 minutes dishwasher was installed. Great job, thanks again!.

Washer/Dryer Installation Request

It's now 1:30 in the afternoon. I called them first thing this morning, Do I need to get a stacking kit and hoses or will you bring them I asked. They said they'd get back to me. I call again at 11... they are still waiting for the Brick to call them back they say. What? I ask,,, the Brick Will Not Call you Back.. Well, they say, we're waiting another 30 minutes... Finally I call back at 1: 30 and say look, I have to know if I'm ordering this kit or not. The New lady on the phone says oh no, WE don't get those YOU have to get the kits.... BUT THEY COULD NOT SAY THAT FIRST THING THIS MORNING AND SAVE ME ALL DAY OF NOT ARRANGING MY INSTALL????????? Forget this disorganized bunch.

Dishwasher Repair

On Monday July 23 we contacted Universal Repair regarding our dishwasher not working properly and described the problem. We were told we would be contacted on Wednesday July 25 between 9 and 9:30 am to confirm when they would be arriving for the call on that same Wednesday. No one called. I contacted them to find out what was happening. They assured me they would call "right back" once they talked to the dispatcher. I had to call back several times throughout the morning until I finally got word they would arrive between 12 and 3. No one arrived. My husband finally got a call (2:30) at home saying the call would not be happening that day. We wasted a whole day on this. The next morning they called to say someone was arriving in "20 minutes" - which he did & proceeded to look at the dishwasher, said there was something wrong with the timer and that our soap dispenser was broken - which basically was repeating MY description of the problem to the person who booked the service call. Solution - you should just buy a new dishwasher. Literally 4 minutes of his time to explain the obvious. Then a $67.00 bill for the call!!!!! At no time was I quoted a service call rate (and god knows I had enough phonecalls with them!) I asked if the $67 would be credited against future work in case I decided to have them fix the timer. Answer - no. So I refused to pay. The phone rang immediately (funny!)Universal's manager threatening me with small claims court.
