We have purchased carpet and services from this store back in 2012. Then the material was excellent price was right, quality and services were great.
Based on previous experiences, we have decided to go back to the same place for carpet when we moved to our new place in August 2015.
We did select new carpet/installation as per their recommendations. It was an expensive one and popular brand. But we have realized after the installation that the carpet quality was not as good as we had in the past.
Although, the Manager and their installers were still good but we were not impressed by the product this time. The warranty from this manufacture is very poor. I believe there is someone (supplier) called Kraus | Floors with More, who act on behalf of manufacturer doesn’t want to resolve the issue. We gave up this issue now as it was never been resolved. This was a bad experience and a good lesson for future.
I still give 9 of 10 for the services on store level because Ultra carpet tried their best to resolve the carpet stain issue from the manufacture through their supplier under the warranty.
I would recommend the retailer to stay away from this supplier/ manufacturer.

As you know, the warranty is provided by the manufacturer; however we will gladly be a liaison between you and them. Kraus is one of the most reputable carpet manufacturers in North America. The product does come with stain warranty. However, making an attempt to remove the stain from the carpet by a professional first is a customer responsibility. If the stain doesn’t come out, the manufacturer promises to honor their warranty. It is a standard practice that the claim is submitted to manufacturer through the retailer. We did process your claim the very day you brought it to our attention without any delay.
Now, in order to finalize the claim, manufacturer has requested that you provide the proof of cleaning attempt by the cleaning professional you mentioned. Kindly email us their payment receipt so that we can submit the proof of the cleaning attempt to Kraus. This is standard requirement and a common industry practice.
