Tippet Richardson has OUTRAGEOUS COSTS for a move. Unless money is not an issue, do not even consider requesting a quote cause they don't even follow costs that are outlined in the agreement. They add travel to and from the move destinations; gas; and $200 per hour. They have careful and friendly crews, however, it is not worth the money. Reason why is you will receive a quote for half the time, and since they secure a deposit on your credit card they will put whatever ridiculous amount they want to charge you for double the hours immediately on your credit card. Dispute it and they give you the run around for several months, thinking you will give up on a credit. Rent your own moving truck, hire private movers that are outside of this rip off mover and you won't even spend half the money. Thousands of dollars to move, legal fees for a move, not to mention all other costs associated with the move is not worth your time to even consider Tippet Richardson. Ridiculous costs and they add on costs that are unreasonable. Never again!!!!!

Moved from Whitby to Kingston Ontario Movers we’re very professional and easy to communicate with at the time of loading and unloading our furniture. Booking agent also highly professional and completely in control of the move from start to finish. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the experience as a 10.

Moved household furnishings from storage to new apartment. Done on time within $50.00 of estimate. Crew was really polite and careful. We were moving a lot of antiques .

The move from house to condo went efficiently and smoothly. The initial assessment and estimate by their moving consultant Judy Webb regarding timing, weight and cost ended up being very accurate.
Four men with a large moving van appeared at the appointed time and moved everything very diligently and carefully. They also complied with our requests and provided additional help where needed.
Judy acted like our own personal concierge addressing all our concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

The service provided was the moving of our daughters furnishings from Scarborough to St. Catheraine Ont. We were very pleased
with every aspect of the move. The movers were very polite and co-operative. We certainly will use Abbeywood again when the
need arises.

Outstanding pack from Mondial movers to partner Tippet Richardson with a fantastic unload. Crews on both sides of the ocean were excellent Our car was shipped and off loaded with zero damage or problems. Would highly recommend both. No damage thus far.

The first crew of our two day move included a high school kid, a chain smoker and a guy that had to take a 1o minute break every 10 minutes. It took 9 hours to load the truck. The unload at our rural location took 2 hours less despite the crew needed to use a shuttle truck as the large couldn't make it up the gravel road in to the house. The bill included bogus charges for wrapping etc that wasn't actually supplied. When I complained about the weak effort from the first crew I got told June was a busy time and it was a hot day. Had to contact them 4 times to get them to reverse the bogus charges and even them they didn't refund the full amount. Will NEVER NEVER used TR again. Don't be fooled by the impression they try and give you that they are elite and their crews are full time professional movers. It's not true.
