After reading several reviews I was very apprehensive to do business with The Master Craftsman. My experiences with my own small business has taught me to view these type of reviews carefully, before making any decisions. Three things came to mind; they are Ontario's largest, how bad can they be? Second, the number of negative reviews is relative to their number of clients. Third, they are restoring people's old furniture. Of course, they'd have some negative feedback.
With that in mind, I decided to proceed with an estimate on my wing back chair. A gentle lady came to my home and gave a very thorough presentation. The price was higher than I expected but it made sense based on the information shared in the presentation. I was impressed and fairly confident to proceed but because of the low grade here I decided to view the shop before proceeding, which the sales person suggested I do. I went and was thoroughly impressed again. The production manager gave me a brief and educational tour, which alleviated almost all of my concern. From here, I decided to go ahead. My chair was returned to me seven weeks later and it was as promised.
Overall, not a single problem. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and polite and the work solid.
