Do Not Buy until reading The Brick policy on return on their website

I purchased an LG TV at The Brick (Dufferin) and decided to also purchase a wall mount for the tv. It took a couple of days for the tv to be shipped to the store and to arrange for my son-in-law to pick up the tv and bring it to my home. I then arranged for a mounting company to install the mount and the new tv. When they came, inspected the area where the tv was to be installed, they indicated my mount would not allow for optimal viewing of the tv. The company installed the tv employing my original mount. It was a good job. We attempted to return the wall mount to The Brick but they refused to accept it because the return occurred more than 7 days after my purchase. We were never informed that the mount needed to be returned within 7 days.However, even after escalating the situation with The Brick, the company insisted in maintaining a 7 day return policy. They informed us that their return policy was on their website. Who knew? As a result, I was forced to suffer a financial loss. For those of you who want to purchase something at The Brick please first read and understand their policies with respect to returning items.

Terrible Customer Service

The only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because of our sales person. We found that he was not very knowledgeable amongst other things which I will mention next. After we purchased our set which we absolutely love, we wanted to take time to renovate our childs room before getting it delivered. We mentioned this to the sales person and we thought that was the end of it. Boy were we ever wrong!!!! That evening the sales person called us to ask when the furniture can be delivered. I thought nothing of it and again reminded him that we will be renovating and I will call when we are ready for delivery. He said ok. Well it wasnt ok. The next day we got two phone calls asking about when the delivery needs be scheduled. The first phone call I said I will call them but the second phone call was me not being so nice. I asked for a manager who did not call until the next day. But prior to him calling I got a 4th call about a delivery date. After speaking to the manager and having to explain the story for the third time he assured me that no one will call for a week. And they didnt but they did call at least 3 times before we decided on date. I found this whole experience very pushy and extremely annoying. We have purchased from The Brick before and this is the worst experience ever. I dont know if this sales person was so desperate for commission or whatever. But I wont be dealing with him again.

And clearly their customer service team doesnt read the reviews because before I deleted it and re added it this is what they wrote:

Adjustable base bed

Do NOT buy an adjustable base bed from The Brick. They are dishonest and if you have a problem, they wont do anything to fix the problem. My adjustable base was delivered defective and after almost 6 months, the issue is still not resolved. I have reason to believe The Brick knew the bed was defective before it was delivered!

Couch

My sectional had to be completely
reholposteted by the brick from defective fabric, fabric came apart again and they will not cover the warranty saying it was everyday use! Buyer beware The brick couches doesnt hold up to everyday sitting according to them!

Terrible service and quality

We ordered this dining table on December. We have been waiting this table for 5 months. We received today. When we opened the box, we were disappointed. Customer service dont help us. Terrible service and quality. Dont buy anything from the brick.

Amazing service

We bought a new sectional set from the Brick in Newmarket. Initially, the Sales Manager, Alex blew us away with his impeccable customer service. Alex is attentive to the needs of his customers and extremely helpful. We will definitely be going back!

Dissatisfaction Guaranteed

As long as you like the item you bought, all is fine, but watch out when you have a problem. I have been a long time Brick customer and will never buy there again. I bought a bed and a mattress set and had problems with both. They started spouting fine print and they made no effort to solve either problem. Now, I'm stuck with a mattress I cannot sleep on. What do you do when you spend $2,000 dollars and have to throw it away? They advertise satisfaction guaranteed, but it is dissatisfaction guaranteed. If you buy enough stuff, eventually you'll run into a problem and then their attitude is "too bad, sucks to be you! Gotcha!"

Garbage

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered 6 new appliances and the dates they had for them to be delivered constantly changed. One minute something was in, the best it was out the door sold to another customer. Terrible customer service. Nobody including the Manager called me back or would sort out my issues. I had to call almost every day to ask where the items where and every time the stories changes. Do not shop here!

Do not buy from the Brick

See the photos after 2 years
The broken parts has to be covered by the agreement but they refused saying it is a damage that I did it purposely
I bought protection plan and i was told damages will be covered but Not true
I was told this is leather but Not true
