The person who did my driveway is an incompetent. Plain and simple. Argumentative. Irrational. Rude. Unwilling to listen. Unwilling to make it right. Never EVER use this company. Anyone who knows anything about driveways knows that driveways are supposed to gently slope into the middle and drain in that middle sweetspot, to keep the water away from either house. But is this what happened? Nope. After neighbours house floods (after first rain after driveway put in), Sureway called to come investigate. Rude, argumentative, mean, and nasty. Stood on his High Horse like we knew nothing and how theres zero way his driveway caused said flooding. We see that theres no middle sweetspot and how new driveway drains directly all the way over to neighbours house. As in pouring directly over to neighbours house. Yup Sureway states. This is how its supposed to work. Uh, no. He argumentatively, loudly, angrily, rudely (yes, all at the same time!) states, here is the high point and thats the low point. Boom, thats a driveway. No. We did not put in a $10,000 driveway to have all the water slope directly into our neighbours foundation. Nope! Fast forward to Spring, this year. Massive flooding in neighbours basement. $18,000 to fix! Fast forward to July and driveway is cracking at the bottom.
So if you want a ton of grief from your neighbours, then by all means use this company. But if you still want to be on speaking terms with them.
