I was in a panic because the secretary lost the only keys to my equipment cabinets at work after a move. I called and was able to set up an appointment quickly. Vlad came out to do the service call and was knowledgeable, professional, and an all-around nice guy! I would absolutely recommend this company!

Literally showed up in 5 minutes to let us into our apartment. Replaced our condo door knob within 30 minutes. The service guy was also very nice and helpful.

I called Jason as my front door lock had jammed and I couldn't get my key in the lock. It wasn't an emergency (I could use the back door) so he came the following day. He was on time, very polite, and fixed it immediately. Thank you!

Had SSI install two deadbolts on a separate entrance for me after I completed a basement reno this spring. I chose SSI because I had them in just over a year ago to change the locks for me after I bought a new house.

They were quick to get back to me after I placed a call to their office, but after several telephone conversations they failed to meet all the specs of the job I laid out of them in the first place.

First, they brought the wrong entry/passage hardware (which I ended up doing myself after the fact) but more importantly they told me they couldn't match the keys on the new basement door deadbolts to the other exterior doors on my house because they weren't the right brand -- this after I told them over the phone what brand of lock I had over the phone.

I'm frustrated by this because I purposely sought them out because of the work they did just a year ago, knowing full well that had I gone with a different locksmith I may have run into this issue.

To add insult to injury, when the locksmith finished the stripped down work order (a deadbolt on the two basement doors) he charged me a $25 fee to re-key one of the deadbolts so it matched the other one he just installed.

He also never offered to clean up the mess he left behind (just saw dust and wood chips .. but inconsiderate just the same).

After this experience I likely would look for a different locksmith for my next project.

Top notch. Will definitely call these guys again the next time I need a locksmith. Spadina Security were prompt and professional. They came out for a quote the day after I called them, didn’t turn down the job due to its relatively small size and did the job at my convenience a week later. Neither one of their staff tried to upsell me on anything; they saved me money by realizing the limitations of the door system I had and not recommending super-fancy hardware that wouldn’t have added to the security of my home. They also took a look at some interior hardware that had been giving me trouble and did this at no extra charge.
