I was quite satisfied - everything was as they said it would be. They installed an IKEA kitchen but also did floors. They were OK with any changes that were necessary and I felt I could trust them.

We had Space Converters build our bathroom that a designer we had got through a charity silent auction. The results are better than we could have imagined. I can't help but thank Adam (he ran the job). So friendly and accomodating!!! Thank you Mike and Brian and hope we can work together soon!

Space Converters won the bid for my Whirlpool bathtub exchange.
American Standard picked them from 3 quotes.
Once we got the OK from American Standard everything went really fast with Space Converters (great relieve after chasing American Standard for months because of the leaking tub and no contract service personnel in the GTA)

They removed the tiles, the tub, installed the new tub, fixed our screwed up plumbing and did a nice job on the tiles. We even got a fancy push-in bathtub plug opposed to the cheap rubber plug we had before. they also did the refund process directly with American Standard.

This is the second project space converters have done for us.The upper level of my back split included new rail and pickets, casements,
gutting and renovating the ensuite bath, removal of carpeting through out, sanding and staining the hardwood floors to match the color of the main level previously reno'd by space converters.
Punctual, efficient , completed in a work man like fashion. I will

Hired Space Converters to gut and completely redo our basement including new bathroom, laundry, bed and entertainment area. My wife was extremely impressed with the glass and tile work in the bathroom - she now uses it more than the main. Tradesmen were exceptional (clean and on time) and Brain and Mike were quick to respond to any questions and the changes we wanted made. Overall a great experience.

We had hired Brian [last name removed -- Ed] of Space Converters to install our Ikea kitchen as they were an Ikea recommended contractor. It was only as the rpoject progressed (and we had many more visits to Ikea) that we were informed that they were no longer an approved installer. The installers did a terrible job on the installation. They ignored the Ikea instructions and left out important structural supports in the cabinets. When we noted that the drawers were sagging, we were told it was just crappy ikea cabinets. Funny thing - when we found the missing pieces and installed them ourselves (requiring us to re-build the cabinets) everything was fine! They also did not complete the work, did a terrible job on the finishing (gaps). We would have been better off installing everything ourselves.

I really appreciated how every concern was addressed right away and in
person. The work men were considerate and tried to not be too disruptive. The
kitchen was completed as I envisioned and they were happy to amend the design as
requested. I love my new kitchen!

Space Converters has been great! The kitchen turned out amazing!
We took the wall down, went into the dining room a bit! They were on time, good service, very informative!!!
Price is good, i've looked around and checked with several contractors! They're righ in the middle, but it's worth it.
They're so good, that I've got them now doing both of my bathrooms...will keep you posted on their progress/work!

I was lucky to get the number for Space Converters from my Kitchen supplier. A total tear down and rebuilding of my 1500SF condo in downtown Toronto was accomplished in 16 days, five days less than the estimated time. The quality of the work was very good, my remarks were addressed promptly and to my satisfaction in almost all cases. The price was very reasonable and they offered discounts at suppliers of building materials.
