Have just read Stephanie's posting. My experience was a few years ago but I too experienced the exact same problem with the hot water tank.
Shiptons, you need to improve on the promise you make at time of purchase to scrap the tank @ Reliance depot.
In fact would advise new customers to have it written on contract and not pay the remaining balance until the ticket number from Reliance depot obtained.
