Just moved into the second building from Brooklin. The workmanship is God Awful ! I know 10 year old kids that could do a better job and plastering and trim work .

I'll start off with the positive: the sales team and that's it!! Our house was set to close in November, literally less than 48 before closing we got a call from the customer service person to tell us sorry but we were not going to close! 48hrs!!!! What kind of notification is 48hrs!!!?? At that point we were frantically trying to put our mortgage, home insurance and everything else on hold until further notice. What's worse is that senator homes did not even seem to care that an entire family was essentially about to be homeless! Not only were we not properly and legally informed of a delay but we weren't even given a time line on when this would get resolved! 10 days later and still this ridiculous, irresponsible and unprofessional builder has yet to actually contact us regarding ANYTHING!!!! I wouldn't refer ANYBODY to buy from senator homes even if I was offered $100000 per referral! I can't speak for all communities senator homes has made but I can speak for Woodstock! Their low home prices and nice models are deffinately not worth dealing with this poor excuse of a builder!

Almost a million dollars for a townhouse that was delayed by months and months. We move in to an ABSOLUTE construction site - no one should be living there. Can't get in and out, workers ruling the place, managers doing nothing. Emails ignored, work not being done to fix the problems in your home. Worst thing is that no one cares here. No one to talk to, no one to champion for the people that live here. Don't buy with this builder. I've worked with other builders before and they are much more caring and considerate.

Horrible experience with Senator Homes. Nice house plan but terrible service by disrespectful head office staff. Our home was late, many incorrect finishes and a huge struggle to get issues fixed. Do not buy from them!

The 0/10 rating is directed at the Customer service team - more directly the Customer Service Manager. We had a great experience through the sales/decor process, however what came after has been nothing short of a nightmare.

We paid for a specific shower tile upgrade as outlined in our signed contract (We have pictures of the colour and a contract to prove this). The builder installed the incorrect shower tile, and refuse to fix this mistake. They claim they installed what their paperwork shows, yet have not provided me a with a copy of said paperwork so I can compare it to mine.

The Customer Service Manager is not worthy of this title, as she has been of no assistance and has been completely rude throughout this process. One of the many examples of this behaviour was when I asked to be transferred to the VP of Construction, as she claims there was nothing she can do, to only disconnect the call before transferring me.

I have contacted my lawyers to take the necessary steps as the Customer Service Manager and VP of Construction are not in the business of admitting their mistakes and fixing them.

I am not asking for a free upgrade. I paid for this upgrade, and that is what I expect to receive.

We also bought because the sales team was great. However. The issue was,
Customer services fav word is "NO". Her daughter is just the same and Unforunately she's a CS manager. It's seriously the worst service we have ever dealt with.
We had many many issues with our home which is why we sold. There is also a registered sex offender in the neighbourhood that was near us and I just wasn't comfortable with that.

The plus? After only a short period of time of buying and selling we made quite a pretty penny !!!

Long negative story short. Don't. Just don't. Do your research. This Toronto base company is very CHEap and pretentious.

We were ones to never take reviews online to heart but please take ours into serious consideration before signing anything with this romper room company unless you like dealing with rude childish customer service.

Oh another positive. Which I don't think these gentlemen ever got much credit for was the site super , bulldozer guy and repair guy.

My review score is a bit misleading as we have loved the sales team. Initially we thought we were getting something different with our deck, we settled and we're happy. We are very satisfied with this duo and at times seems like they are the only ones able to get anything done.

Our site super was ok. Was only ever aware of issues when brought up. Never fixed some issues but overall satisfactory.

Our biggest NEGATIVE and this one is very large is with customer service. The answer is always no, solutions are impossible. It doesn't matter if it's in your contract they refuse to do it and don't offer reimbursement through any means (even our money back). Very standoffish.

We would absolutely love the product we have if we had everything we paid for. Our issues could be solved in under $500 but that's too much money even if you already paid for it. I would and will not recommend a product by senator homes asking as the customer service remains intact as is.

If you do purchase here you will learn the name of this individual and you will find EVERYONE shares a similar dissatisfaction.

very poor quality work, messy, very unhappy. builder has promised to fix deficiencies but they are dragging their feet and we are in very poor shape. Will be proceeding with small claims court as we have to pay an outside contractor to make all repairs.

Do not purchase a home from this builder. Customer Service is non existent. Marg Donaldson consistently fails to respond, waits until items are out of warranty and fails to complete repairs. Porch railings on many homes were built out of code, and their adjustments only caused further damage. Still in dispute with the assistance of the Municipality. Buyer Beware!!!!!!! Buy from another builder.

My husband and I just purchased a house in Courtice. We have had no problems at all. Bob has been fabulous with any questions we have, and when we went to the decor centre to pick out our finishings, Barb was fabulous. Barab gave us input on things that would look good and would not look so good, what certain colors do for the house. My husband and I picked dark colors, as we like dark. Barb let us know that 3/10 people go dark, but our colors are rich and will look fabulous. I am very happy with them.

I think people should do research before they sign on their house, or even look at the house. people are just too uptight these days,RELAX, people are busy. If they don't return your phone call in a couple days, call them back, it may have slipped their minds.
