The one star I gave was for the sales person only. Overall delivery services for Sears DISAPPOINTED ME big time. My condo had straight rules about delivery and I noted that it had to be delivered by 8pm but they did not show up. When I called at 7:30pm they told me the delivery people would be calling me. They did except that it was about 9:30pm they called and said that they could be arriving in 20 minutes which was way too late. So I called the service centre to reschedule for the Saturday coming up. They confirmed. Then 5 minutes later after I hung up the phone. Someone else at the service centre called up wanting to schedule again at which point I told them I just already scheduled for the coming Saturday. She then checked and confirmed. However on the Saturday morning they were to show up. They never did. I called 3 times and was on hold for over 15 minutes no one answered. Finally, 4th time after 10 minutes or so someone answered and told me the schedule was not for today but for another Saturday. At which point, I was just lost it and cancelled the order completely. It is not worthy the hazzle to deal with sears delivery.

I have bought many appliances from Sears. This summer, I bought a washing machine and arranged for delivery and set up. I have never been so disappointed. Not only did the delivery people keep me waiting, but they were totally unprepared to set up the washing machine. The 2 men watched while I, a lone woman, took a door off the hinges. The men then asked me for a wrench, since they did not have any tools to hook up the washer. They also said that they could not level the machine (probably since they did not bring a level). They left the hose in back of the machine twisted. Basically, after paying for delivery/set up I was left with a machine I could not use. I had to hire a handman come in to level the mahcine, untwist the hose, and attach the hose to the wall. Only positive thing about this whole procedure is that the washing machine works fine. I would definitely think long and hard before I had another appliance delivered from Sears.

I purchased a range from Sears Home. On the day of the delivery, the delivery men did not arrive until 1 hour after the end of the promised delivery time period. When they came, they measured my doors and told me that the range was 30" wide and therefore was too big to fit through the door. They said I needed to go back to the store and buy a smaller range. I was confused but agreed and they left. After some time, I realized that even though the width of the range was wider than the door, the depth of the range should be small enough to fit through. I went back to Sears to ask someone about the measurements of the range. All of the salespeople on the floor ignored me and did not answer my questions because they knew I would not be purchasing anything that day. I went to the customer service desk and all they said was "try the delivery again". So I wasted another day waiting for the delivery. This time, some more experienced delivery people came. They did not even bother measuring the doors. They just carried the range in, and it fit through the doors with room to spare. The service at Sears is very questionable and delivery is hit or miss.

i went to the store the sales person had me walk through the advantages to each unit the knowledge help alot and when you are informed it makes your purchase a lot easey and you can feel confident in your purchase

sales have good service and good advices,but their delivery guy is not that great. I am disappointed that they do not install the handle for
the fridge and explain a little bit about proper use of the control
buttons.

I needed appliances and didn't have time to stay in the store to look around. I explained what I was looking for and asked for the best price possible as i didn't have time to look around and I am a long time customer of Sears Home Furnishings. She was very helpful, provided me with information over the phone, model numbers to look at on the website and the most competitive price, all within one week and delivered in the next.

Okay sooo guess what...no kitchen table showed up...instead we got a call about 7:30 pm from sears delivery asking...when they could set up a date for delivery for our kitchen table...I think Ted almost blew a gasket at the lady, when she told him they were not delivering it tonight and knew nothing about who called before to say it would be ... See Moredelivered tonight, it was quite a show to watch, so after 2 hours on the phone to various departments, one lady told him she would get it here at 7 am, then when he spoke to the customer service from Sears she said no it wouldn't be here at 7am, but she should be able to have it delivered next Wed. evening...all I have to say is don't buy from Sears, we ordered this set Feb.9/10. Have been told numerous times of delivery dates and to this date still HAVE NO KITCHEN SET!

sears was good at helping us select the colour and the sofa was delivered on time... billing was weird, and sears kept billing me after the sofa was paid for. a few calls to the cust service team was able to work things out. would buy from them again.

When I walked into the store the the checkout lady was very helpful. She gave me many ideas on how i can save money and told me all the discounts in the store. I would recommend this store to a friend.

Sears Home had a great selection of dinning room tables and chairs. I was very lucky to find a great dinning room set with matching chairs that looks stunning in my condo space. What I like best about this table is that it has a leaf that allows the table to turn from a circle chair to an oval that seats six people very nicely.
