terrible service then no service now insolvent???
The service went from slow and poor to nonexistent and now they are "insolvent" with our money. And obviously the money of others here.
Used them last year and they were decent. Signed a contract again this year, pre-paid of course. First snow fall the cleanup was slow but they came. Poor workmanship - i.e. lots of snow remaining on steps. Same thing with last snowfall.
There was a huge snowstorm in late January. About a foot of snow. Days passed and no service. I wrote; I called. Nothing. I sent four emails, all of which wen unanswered. I eventually had to hire another contractor on an ad hoc basis.
Another snowfall came and went with no service and no communication. I decided to send a letter demanding a refund of our money. About two weeks later, I received an email notifying me that the company was "insolvent". Not bankrupt but insolvent,
We are considering our legal options - not sure there is any way to speak to other reviewers here directly but would be interested in doing so.
