Rent A Son

Best move ever. Have had some awful ones and some OK ones but never one where the movers wer as careful and helpful as the three man team from Rent-a-Son. They showed up early and were well equiped to do the job. Extremely concerned about makng sure that all fragile items were well packaged and if they weren't like some pictures, they had some large cardboard frame boxes to insure no damage in transit. No reservation about using them again and recommended them to a neighbor who stopped by to inquire.

At the last minute I decided to change my baby's room colour while I had a couple days alone in the house. I called Rent a Son and early the next morning they sent a couteous young man who went straight to work. The room was prepared in no time. Thanks Rent a Son.

We use Rent-a-Son for a wide range of services from taking our patio furniture out in the Spring and in when it's fall. Helping bring up the boxes of decorations for Christmas, Easter or Thanksgiving from the basement. Doing yard work and gardening in the Spring and Fall. Serving as waiters during many of our Open Houses. This young men do so good a job you want to adopt-a-son .

At the eleventh hour, I phoned Rent-A-Son to see if they could move me on Oct. 1, not only the first of the month but a Saturday as well. I initially wrote via email but then called and was fortunate to get in touch with Linh Nguyen, who was not only one of the most professional, knowledgeable, PATIENT, and friendly people I've dealt with, but efficient, willing to give advice and make things as reasonably priced as possible, and assure me that everything would be fine (if you knew me, you'd appreciate what an accomplishment that is for her! LOL). I made many changes to what supplies I needed, had many questions about the move, and LInh was incredibly responsive, cordial, professional and provided me with information on whatever I requested. This is very unusual nowadays. In addition, she would answer my emails even late at night via her BlackBerry! It's so rare to find someone who cares about their job, and makes the customer feel as comfortable as she did.

The move went splendidly. Two young capable, friendly and professional guys arrived on time, with the requested supplies, and even though there were some last-minute changes during the actual move they didn't complain...in fact, they were incredibly nice and did a fantastic job. Not one broken item, nothing scratched in the apartment on either end of the move.

I cannot recommend Rent-a-Son highly enough. Do not hesitate for a fraction of a second to use them, you'll be thrilled.

While I had access to a truck (at no cost) to bring my things to my new place, I had no way of getting those things up to the fourth floor of a building that has NO ELEVATOR. Fortunately, the two movers assigned to the job, Kyle and Paul did an absolutely stellar job going up and down stairs in less than an hour. They were professional, courteous, and efficient. It was a huge relief to me to have such competent and careful movers. Rent-A-Son deserves its great reputation, and they have my gratitude for the excellent service provided!

we hired Rent-a-Son to move our furniture and boxes into storage bins we had for our move. They arrived on time, were very polite and worked efficiently. We will definitely be using them again!

This was the 32nd time in my life that I've moved, and while many of those moves were done with friends for pizza and beer, a number of them have been by professional moving companies. Rent-a-Son has been the best company to work with--they actually call when they say they're going to, they were able to handle my move Tuesday when I only called them the Friday before, at almost 5 p.m. The 3 sons were efficient, personable, explained the paperwork well, handled my belongings with care and just generally did a great job. They also called me afterwards to see how it went and make sure I was happy with the move. I will use them when I move my stuff out of storage, and for any future moves. Thanks Hussein and my three "sons"!

They were recomended to me by Giant Portable, to help pack a storage container. They were super professional, curteous and quick. My sons packed everything careful and made sure all my requests were met. They made the move easy and painless. Excellent company, highly recommended!!!

Being past the age where my buddies would be excited to help me complete a small move for the price of a couple beers, I decided to not waste their limited time and their backs and instead call in the pros @ Rent a Son. The owner Dustin was extremely helpful in providing me the tools and the advice to get this small move done 'on the cheap' (which I had explained was important for me).

I was paired up with Alex-the-Aussie, who was very helpful and courteous in getting this small move done as quickly as possible in a u-haul during a snowstorm.

Rent-A-Son offers a great (needed) service, and I fully plan on using this company again for another small post-renovation move soon, plus other services in the future. I would definitely recommend this company.
