Quality Restorations and Renovations

Quality Restorations were a pleasure to deal with. From my first contact with Doug he demonstrated professionalism, arriving on time for our initial appointment (some contractors I spoke with didn't turn up at all), offering options for dealing with my crumbling porch and stairs, providing a detailled list of references, and referring me to other customers and emailing me photographs so that I could see previous work done by his company. Doug also impressed me by responding quickly to phone calls and emails (again setting the bar high for other contractors). As generally happens on reno jobs, an unexpected structural issue was discovered once the work was underway, but Doug and his team devised a creative solution for it that did not result in an increase to the price quoted for the work. I appreciated that very much because it would have been very easy to inflate the job unnecessarily on account of this issue. Doug also was able to pull in a supplier of wrought iron railings, with whom I was also very impressed, to help design new railings for the porch, thereby saving me a lot of time in researching suppliers for that aspect. For any work that my house requires from now on, Quality Restorations will be the first place I call. Thanks, Doug and team, for a terrific job!!

Quality Restorations did a great job cleaning and repairing the exterior walls of our concrete home. They took care with our historic home and were very easy and pleasant to deal with.

As new home owners one of the biggest challenges we have faced was in finding competent and reliable contractors for home renovations.

We did a lot of research this time (as we made some pretty bad mistakes previously by hiring local handymen for other jobs), and took a leap of faith with 'quality restorations.

Doug Pearse is honestly the most organized and knowledgeable contractor I have ever met. He immediately got back to us with a quote, and provided us with several options for work within our budget.

The true test of the integrity of 'quality restorations' for us was when we realized that we weren't 100% happy with the end result. I expected that this positive experience would go down in flames fast... but Doug, as he always had in the past, responded within 40 min of my concerned text message, and it was fixed right away...hassle free! No arguments!...just a great experience.

We have a lot of work to do on the house down the road and are hoping to use quality restorations whenever possible. This seriously has been one of the best experiences I have had as a homeowner and it's great to know that there are guys like Doug out there who know their stuff and are good guys to work with.

Dale and Brad did a wonderful job. The finished product is beautiful, carefully completed and exactly what I had hoped for. They were very helpful - Dale thought of things I hadn't (like putting tile in the interior of the fireplace and finding an electrician to disconnect an unused electrical outlet), so the process was very smooth and very easy for me. Dale and Brad were a delight to have in our house. They did the job over the course of a few very, very hot days, and they never slowed down - they worked efficiently and without complaint. Thank you! Doug is very organized and replies to emails quickly, and kept things moving forward from the time I first contacted him.

Brick cleaning was done to my satisfaction. Work was done in a timely and professional matter. The workers left no debris behind. Invoicing and payment was simple. I would use the company again.

The staff did a great job and came back to modify elements we needed modified. Very professional contractors who took their work seriously. The porch looks fantastic and is worth the cost.

This was our first experience with the people from Quality Restorations. Throughout the process we found the people we dealt with to be knowledgeable, professional and were genuinely easy to work with. The project was completed as promised and the we are very satisfied with the quality of the materials used and the workmanship. The existing expansive terrace overlooking the pool area, required waterproofing and replacement of the surface with marble and limestone. The work was completed in a timely manner and with the precision required because of curved steps.

Quick, competent, competitive, and efficient. Two roofing jobs: back half of house, and garage [both completed in 1 day]. Also an access door added to a porch [[half day]. Cleanup was done efficiently. Recommend by a neighbour.

We wanted to redo our laundry room in our basement. The basement is a finished basement but the laundry room was really tiny and not practical. Dale came to give us a quote, he was on time and gave us a detailed quote. He and his crew were very polite and respectful of our place and time, they always cleaned up but more importantly they did a really good and conscientious job. I wanted to chose the new cabinetry from Ikea and Dale even met me there to help me order everything and bring it home! We have been very fortunate to have them and I would use them again for another job in the house.
