Adt Protectron - Out of Business

When deciding on an alarm system, Reliance came out to do an assessment, went over all the options in detail and up front indicated that they were able to use the existing system. Salesperson was not pushy and was knowledgeable about products and services. Everything was set up without a hitch and were able to get a great package for less than other comparable companies.

Already in the home, they just rewired it. It was a quick installation. Good communication and great hours, they work around your schedule - flexible hours. They honour their work. They came in and replaced sensors and stuff because it wasn't working, no charge.

I got invoiced over 2 years ago for a service they couldn't provide (installation problems) but kept on billing me eventhough i cancelled the damn services from day ZERO. it's over 2 years and ADT's accounting department cannot seem to get it right. I just got an invoice today that states it is 619 days overdue!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone i know. Even my maintenance team was wanting to change the security monitoring from Chubb to ADT and because i look after the area, i would not approve. Sorry ADT, you lost a big contract with me and the company! All this trouble for $400.00. i think i have wasted over $400 in my time and should be billing them back!

Our house was broken into when we were on vacation. ADT was quick to respond to our request. Very effecient. Easy to operate alarm. Have peace of mind and secure feeling whenever we are not home.

Matt came out last month to do a site inspection and give us a quote. He was thorough, detailed, and really put my mind at ease. He spent about an hour and a half asking us questions and explaining their process. We signed up that night with a ten day out period to get a few other quotes. I saw 3 more local companies, My husband 2. They were all cheaper than ADT, but we went with ADT for their overwhelming benefits (lifetime warranty, history, and professionalism). Every other company was trying to lowball me into free system scams, Matt was honest and truly stands behind his service, he actually gives out his home phone # for emergencies. The system was installed in a timely fashion, and the training was quite thorough, and then Matt dropped in to test us and the kids on the system. A+ experience that was more than worth the very little extra.

Shane took hours longer than expected, took personal calls, forgot all his equipment and then told me he was going to take a break! I was very disappointed. The sales lady was awesome and the overall company service was good. This installer was not.

We called ADT for a security system consult when we moved into our home in 2003. We liked their suggestions and decided to have both a security system and smoke detectors installed. When they were originally installed our dog's barking would set off the alarm. I called and they sent someone over the next day. A minor adjustment solved the problem. I find their telephone support excellent. I have never had a problem having one of their employees walk me through changing settings. The smoke detector batteries had to be changed and again they sent someone over promptly. The alarm has gone off a few times ( usually because someone forgot the cancellation code) and they have called immediately.

I feel secure in knowing that our system is being monitored 24/7.

When we were getting our house alarm installed they sent a tech named Stan which was so useless. He came alone and we had to stay home from work to assist him in wiring the house. He mad a huge mess. he didn't finish the job and had to come back then we had to stay home again away from work. The job was done okay but the tech was very careless and made a huge mess in our bathroom. from the beginning ADT was trouble. I'll never use them again.

They are very approachable and punctual and answered questions when I contacted them. They are doing the install next week so tbd on their quality on install. They offered a much more comprehensive package than alarm force - a digital system with an intercom. It costs a bit more but they offer a camera on the outside to monitor from inside

ADT installed a security system into our home with a wireless keypad by our front door for convenience. Service was friendly and helpful. We will be having ADT install a system in our new home that we intend to move to next month.
