I want anyone who is reading this to know that I am not one of those customers that complain over any little possible thing they can find. I reviewed a company by the name of Duralock here on Homestars and you will see I gave them great praise. Duralock does interlocking and various things by the way and they are amazing. Duralock's customer service is top notch, unlike Peel Region Paving Co. I found Carlo on Homesrars and thought I had such a great experience with a company on Homestars before, so surely thus will be a great experience also. Well it was not. had my driveway paved last year early September. There were a couple repairs that needed to be done. Keep in mind it has been a year now since. Last year Carlo said at the end of the season he would send a couple guys out to do the repairs. That never happened. So I followed up, called several times and got no response. I called his office and I was told that they were done for the season. Carlo promised to send out someone to do repairs at the beginning of the season the following year. So this year I called Carlo again. Again he said he would send someone out, he never did. So I started calling him quite a few times. I was very unsatisfied and it was quite a hassle to have to follow up with a job that should have been done the previous year. I felt like he was avoiding my calls. I left him a message telling him that I was upset that he did not follow through with what he said he was going to do and could not even bother to call me back. I also told him that I was going to leave a poor review since he was dishonest and could not be bothered. He got paid for the job, so why would he care. Anyhow, Carlo called me back and apologized and said he would send a contractor named Leo out to do the repairs. He also said for all the hassle, he would have Leo seal my driveway for free. I was happy with this response because I had been wanting to seal my driveway, but could not because the repairs were not done. Anyhow, Leo and his crew came today and they did the repairs. I had to go pick up my daughter, so I left. I was expecting to see Leo and his crew sealing the driveway by the time I returned. Instead, I returned to find them gone. So I called Leo and he says he called Carlo and Carlo said not to seal my driveway! I called Carlo of course, and of course he is back to avoiding my calls. I am so very disappointed that Carlo does not honour his word and commitment to his customers. I do not recommend this company at all. Go somewhere else. All Carlo cares about is making money. He is not a genuine person. He should not be running a business.
