PCO Pest Control

We hired Orkin Pest Control to exterminate rodents in our house about two years ago. The guy placed a trap and disappeared forever. When we asked the company what was done, they said they did not know as the exterminator was not working for them anymore. No reports were available. I heard a good reference for the company, so I think it just was unfortunate circumstance...

I had a mouse problem in my house. PCO laid some traps in my house and also put some bait traps outside my house in my yard. They charged me approximately $500 per year to maintain these traps. All they did was come and replace the bait. If I could buy the bait, I could do it myself and not be charged such an expense.

I was on my way to the basement and from the top of the stairs I saw a squirrel at the bottom. My son and I managed to get it out of the house. As a renter, I contacted my property management company who called PCO. They were supposed to call me when they were on the way. I waited past the time they were due and when I called their office, I found that they had the wrong number. Almost immediately the control officer called and came directly over. He didn't want to proceed with the work because the property manager wasn't available to OK the work. When I explained what had happened, he agreed to cap the chimney where the squirrel had entered. He also told me that a nest had been built and cleared it as best he could. This was about 5 months ago and no more squirrels!
