To begin with, I like Roy.. When we decided to put in new flooring, I mapped out a number of flooring experts and spent a day driving around to visit showrooms and speak with people. Invision was quite out of the way for us, but their Homestar rating was meaningful for me. I was struck by how knowledgeable Roy was, not just with his products, but also with decor. Since this was the first time that we had ever replaced floors, we were really looking for someone who had meaningful input on material, colour, grain, layout, etc. Every other place said "you decide", which wasn't much help. In contrast, Roy looked at our photos, asked some pointed questions, and helped us narrow to what we needed. Our ultimate choice was dramatically different from our initial plans, and the improvement is unmistakable. Though Invision was far from the cheapest provider, based on our dealing with Roy, we were quite confident that they were the best choice.
When it came to installation, I have three comments of note:
1) Roy was terrific in working with us and our small space to shift stuff around. We had a discussion about logistics and I handed him the key - that was it. What a pleasure to work with someone who has so many practical strategies in place to get the work done, which really helped to minimize the stress of the project.
2) The workmen were clearly craftsmen, and proud of their work. They worked incredibly hard and efficiently, and spent extra time shaping cuts in finicky areas.
3) The project was one day over forecast, but the workmen were so scrupulous in their clean-up at the end of each day that it really made no difference. Our house was perfectly functional at night, because all tools were put away, all surfaces well sweep.
I must say that the cost of the final project did rise slightly over the quote. This is typically not good, but I accept the extra expenses as legitimate.
In sum, I would (and will) go to Invision for future projects.

We met Roy at the Fall Home Show this year. He explained the process of removing our 2nd floor carpet and installing hardwood, which included a rounded nosing over the balcony. We later visited him in his showroom and requested an in home quote. The quote was nicely drafted up and very detailed. We decided to go with Invision becuase the quote was competitive, Roy seemed like a good guy to do business with, and we were impressed by prior reviews. We were not disappointed. Roy's team installed our second floor hardwood in three days which was exactly on schedule because we needed one extra day to clean before moving in. The floor looks great and we appreciate it more every day. Thanks Roy! Great job!

From the time we went to the showroom and met Dov and Roy we were impressed with their professionalism, patience and knowledge. They took the time to fully understand what we wanted and offered many valuable suggestions. They also took the time to fully describe the process and what it would entail.

I am thrilled to say that the schedule was strictly adhered to and the work completed within 2 weeks. Last but most importantly, we are very happy and satisfied with the work and have received numerous compliments.

I would recommend Invision without hesitation and would most definitely use their services again.

Dov and Roy both demonstrated professionalism and a realistic guidance from the selection of the hardwood brand, to the type of wood and stain colour, through to the installation. They took the time to make sure that I understood the product and how the logistics of installation would work.
During installation, all my questions were answered and the installation crew worked efficiently and did their best to minimize the mess and disruption. The started and finished in their stated timeline.

The new hardwood floor looks great and in the end the entire process exceeded my expectations.

They not only met but exceeded our expectations in all service categories - punctuality, quality, timeliness and follow up. Roy has a very pleasant and professional manner and is genuinely interested in meeting customers' needs. He took time with us and guided us in the best hardwood product selection, which was also not the most expensive one. He delivered as per plan and met all deadlines in an efficient and effective manner. This included coordinating on and off site with other trades who were part of our larger renovation project. The installation crew were very good and floors look wonderful. Roy offers excellent follow up in person and remotely. He provided important advice on the care of the floor. This is the 2nd time we worked with Roy, and again he demonstrated his great customer service skills. It was a different team this time, but they did a good job and were a pleasure to deal with.

Roy, Dov and his team did a superb job. This is the second time I have used their services for the installation of hardwood flooring. In fact, I have referred them to a ton of clients and everyone comes back to me with accolades of their work.

I would not hesitate in recommending this company. In fact, I was originally referred to Invision by another happy customer. Roy and Dov (the owners) were a pleasure to deal with - courteous, knowledgeable, reliable and professional. They had a very good selection of hardwood and composite flooring to choose from, at a variety of price ranges. In the end we chose a hardwood that was at the higher end of the scale, but there was no pressure from them to do so, and in the end we found that both the cost of the hardwood and installation was reasonable given the quality of the wood and the installation. The installation took awhile (it was on several floors and involved new and restained stairs) but they didn't complete it until we were fully satisfied. Their installers are also very courteous, professional and reliable.

Working with Invision was a great customer service and hardwood flooring installation experience! Under a tight deadline, they were able to come in, measure everything out and provide expert advice and solutions on a few issues...and all with a reasonable cost. They laid down 800+ square feet of engineered hardwood in two days. Floors were swept up, but needed a go with the vacuum by us afterwards, but no big deal considering how good they looked.
