Buyer Beware - Window and Patio Door Replacement for Our Entire House
First, I would like preface this review by saying that I am actually quite happy with the majority of my experience with this company. Our sales rep, David, was great to work with; our installers, Branko and Misha, did a fantastic job and Jean from the scheduling department, is very pleasant to speak with on the phone whenever we had any questions. So thank you!
My dissatisfaction with our experience with Consumer's Choice has to do with the fact that the job is still not yet fully complete. We signed our contract at the beginning of June 2017 and were told we would have to wait around 10 weeks for the windows to be installed. We were finally scheduled to have our windows installed at the end of September 2017. It was a long 4 month wait but at that point in time, we did not mind too much as we understood that the windows needed to be custom-made and there were other orders ahead of us.
The windows and patio door were installed within the estimated time frame at the end of September 2017; however, we are currently still missing our trim for our window in the foyer--it is now mid-February 2018! Our installers have been back since our initial installation date to install the trim; however, the manufacturer has been unable to recreate the curvature of the trim. And this is after we paid a "bending charge" of $800! We have called the company on multiple occasions to ask when our trim would be ready but the response I keep getting is they will look into it and call me back. Needless to say, they have not called back about our trim. I have withheld the final 10% of our balance but that does not seem to motivate them to do anything. I am very frustrated as I would like to see an end to this project and finally be able to move onto installing window coverings.

In regards to your custom trim, we had unforeseen delays due to the trim being on back order and then needing to be custom made. As per our phone conversation, the trim is scheduled to be received at the end of February. We will then escalate to have an installer to your home to install it.
