My experience with Nu-trend was bad. They were unresponsive and unprofessional. They failed to do their work properly. Their service are not recommended.

They are an insurance contractor meaning they will underbid all competitors and limit scope of work to save Intact money. This results in the insured not being able to pick their own contractor without paying a lot out of pocket. They quoted less than 1/3 what all other contractors quoted. Then they do questionable work at a questionable price, with questionable sub-trades to save money. You get what you pay for.

Our condo was flooded and Nu Trend came to the rescue with a professional team who helped us immensely throughout every step of the process from the floor removal, selecting the new flooring and professional installation. Robert and his team helped us even in situations that wasn't part of their scope of work and found solutions easily where the other Condo Corp vendor could not, which we very much appreciated.

Very unprofessional very messy do not use this company they cut corners wherever they can

Recently, our business experienced a major flood, and we were introduced to Nu-Trend Construction through our insurance broker. This company has done a great deal to change our views when it comes to working with contractors. Nu-Trend took ownership of this job from start to finish! They worked extremely well with us to ensure that our clients, families and staff experienced as minimal impact as possible. They worked with our timelines, gave us options every step of the way, their communication was absolutely outstanding, and they produced quality work in a timely manner!

Nu-Trend competently did the necessary emergency work when our home sustained water damage. Mike has been our go to person and he has coordinated a crew that so far has done a great job restoring our kitchen and basement. All drywall, painting, carpentry and flooring have been done by friendly, clean, competent individuals. We have been kept informed of when to expect workers and any minor deficiencies so far have been dealt with effectively. Our job is almost done and I expect my rating will be the same once the job concludes but I will update this review once all the work is complete. I am expecting that will be within the next 2 weeks.

Nu-Trend came to my house to repair my basement after the sewer backed up. They were quick and super friendly. I really appreciated the open communication through the entire process. Thank you Nu-Trend.
